You are a complete and utter mug, I parked right next to the van and of the three people getting out none were Bunyan or his mechanic, Bunyan was in the pits, perhaps he had sold his van because the the one he turns up in at Rye is not sign written. How people get the wrong end of the stick, put 2 + 2 together and get 5, then crucify a rider with no real substance to do so. I thought the rain off was the right decision, nobody wanted to call it off and would hazard a guess it will leave the Panthers promotion out of pocket? -

well if that isn't taking the piss then what is?....I will bet my last bottom dollar that he is fully recovered and raring to go for Saturday night. Dear Len and John, can you not see that he is eaxtracting the urine? -

The reason for gassing Tres is purely down to his Grass/Long track exploits over a weekend....Bowen should of gone by now but get the feeling he is part of the furniture at Rye. -

believe it or not this could be closer tahn some think!!...Rockets may get within ten...Bowen and Nielsen will be lucky to score five between them. -

well after reading that report on the website and John Sampfords comments, what a total load of bollox....so Kennett who is an experienced rider turns up iwht one suitable engine?....Sampford should also take a look at his tactical use, or lack of it, Bowen had three rides for two points and still came out for his fourth, Nielsen had had three rides for two pionts and came out for his fourth, yet we had another reserve who was our top scorer with paid ten points, and was one of only two heat winners up until heat thirteen, yet only was gievn five rides?..it wouldnt of changed the result but it would of at least of appeared that the team and management weren't just going though the motions. Time to throw out Bowen, Tres and Boxall, drastic yes but another two months of this and there will be more riders and hangers on than paying fans....in reality there will be hardly any if no changes. -
so did Poole receive a fine last night?....

Rockets to win by at least ten, Rockets current consistant scorer is at reserve and with a bit of rain forecast at some stage on Saturday could be a match winner. -
Tigers fully deserved the points and I always felt they were in control, shame about Poole staying down and imo only a matter of time before referee's start fining riders who deliberatly do this. Some good racing and Bunyans pass of Stead was a beaut, one downside was the size of crowd, looked very poor? Kennett, tried hard and probably deserved a few more than what he ended up with but for a rider of his experience and ability he should be banging in high double scores for fun, as forbeing an inspirational skipper, well.....also Rockets are looking at the wooden spoon, being loyal to riders like Bowen and Boxall have certainly added to the fact they lack any real intent on winning anything this season
-
there is no real need to ban or fine riders, speak to any of the riders and they all know that what goes around comes around, speedway is a small community, they face each other on a failry regular basis over a season or even over a career, where at some time or another the culprit will be in the wrong position at the wrong time. Pointing fingers at which riders some deem dirty and some not is almost laughable, take for instance Hans Andersen, for me he is a dirty rider, but he hasnt even been mentioned.....or if you want a real dirty rider try Ronni Pedersen, he was clinical around Pboro in his hey day!

Edinburgh Vs Rye House (20th Of June)
Odds On replied to CaptainAudi's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
You don't need a lot of brains to be a very good sportsman, you only have to look at previous speedway World Champions to see that...the biggest talking from last night is the Garrity and Sneddon incidents, if I was part of the Monarchs promotion I would be working hard to somehow get Garrity riding in Edinburgh ASAP, whether as an opponent or as a Guest. -

Time for a change or two, Bowen or Boxall or even both, forget using Morley again as he's clearly nowhere near ready.... Maybe Dakota North and Dan Halsey? -

Promoters should be running clubs as a business, I know which club I'd rather be involved with come November when the books are being settled. yes Sometset thrashed us over the two meetings but at what cost to the Somerset bank balance? Len is shrewd and also calculated, is hazard a guess that he would also welcome other investors into the team as well!! -
Don't forget to listen out for those exhausts!...

just wondering if the machine examiners will be testing exhausts at these meetings?...if you get the chance try and listen to them, certain riders sound different to others! -

Two races in and it's as boring ass hell, the track has all the hallmarks of a GP track. -
Going to a packed Brandon for one of the British Finals, it was heaving and entry was always a nigthmare espicially the bit where you go into the stadium under the grandstand, the stewards were non existant but one guy took control and started shouting to go this way and that way and all was sorted by one bloke.....I later found out that bloke was "soldier boy".. A last heat decider at Cov against Cradley, massive crowd with a great atmosphere, I think it was Wiggy and Alan Graham, anyway one of them was left at the start and just parked his bike long ways across the starting grid, race was stopped and Cradley done the business in the re-run....which didnt go down too well Pedersen being handed a beating after knocking S Robson off at Brandon, guess Pedersen just nailed the wrong guy Craig Boyce giving it large to a fellow team mate at the Isle of Wight whilst ont he track and ion the pits afterwards, Boyce may of lumped Gollob but was battered and was only saved even more punishment when mechanics and other riders had to pull his team mate off of him.

There's a team manager who is a bigger drama queen than him,and he's not the Acrs team manager. Drama queen alert, Rossiter being interviewed....no sign of any Kleenex needed just yet!
