Agree Shadders but you must ask the question when certain riders are labelled as not trying etc but whilst riding for other clubs they are labelled just the opposite. I don't think there are any bad apples in the current line up.

well I wonder why that is?!...if you listen/read to regular Rye fans on here they paint the same picture for a number of current and previous Rye riders, perhaps just maybe the problem isn't the riders but elsewhere within the club.

just goes to show the state of the current situation at Rye House, if things were okay do people really think Anders would be calling it a day? R/R will be the order of the day, good news for the remaining riders! It also shows that some of the debacle that came about for heat 15 last week was down due to Anders as well and not just JS?

In no way am I defending Darcy Ward but I do think he could be the unlucky one here, we've all seen or heard about riders having a few beers after a meeting and then riding the following day....another example is when a rider wins a meeting, nice bottle of champagne on the rostrum, a few bottles with the pit crew/sponsors etc etc... The verdict and punishment will be interesting, the publicity this could bring to the sport could be damaging but lets be honest the sport is just about on its arse anyway so the old saying of any publicity is good publicity could never more be truthful.

Think the biggest problem will be riders wanting to ride for the Rockets, the speedway world is a very small one!

The team manager needs to either jump into the real and current world or fekk off and retire in the Fens.

we were all thinking what the hell was going on in heat 15, someone did mention it was a balls up by JS and that AM was all packed up and ready to leave, guess there's more to a TEAM rider than just riding your own races.

Cheating as in riders using illegal equipment, interesting that somebody mentioned nitro as a fuel, now that will make a rider go faster!!

surely no rider would use ilegal fuel in this day and age?....regarding punishment, if Kennetts punishment is anything to go by then a tasty ban would be in order but like I say surely no rider would get caught in this day and age.

Some interesting posts so far, I'm surprised that using different fuels hasn't been tried and tested as it most be one of the easiest and effective ways to increase speed?

Fully agree with Chris Browns post above, it simply feels wrong that a customer pays £15 and then 15 minutes later whent he meeting has been postponed cannot receive a refund there and then.

You are a complete and utter mug, I parked right next to the van and of the three people getting out none were Bunyan or his mechanic, Bunyan was in the pits, perhaps he had sold his van because the the one he turns up in at Rye is not sign written. How people get the wrong end of the stick, put 2 + 2 together and get 5, then crucify a rider with no real substance to do so. I thought the rain off was the right decision, nobody wanted to call it off and would hazard a guess it will leave the Panthers promotion out of pocket?

The reason for gassing Tres is purely down to his Grass/Long track exploits over a weekend....Bowen should of gone by now but get the feeling he is part of the furniture at Rye.

believe it or not this could be closer tahn some think!!...Rockets may get within ten...Bowen and Nielsen will be lucky to score five between them.

well after reading that report on the website and John Sampfords comments, what a total load of bollox....so Kennett who is an experienced rider turns up iwht one suitable engine?....Sampford should also take a look at his tactical use, or lack of it, Bowen had three rides for two points and still came out for his fourth, Nielsen had had three rides for two pionts and came out for his fourth, yet we had another reserve who was our top scorer with paid ten points, and was one of only two heat winners up until heat thirteen, yet only was gievn five rides?..it wouldnt of changed the result but it would of at least of appeared that the team and management weren't just going though the motions. Time to throw out Bowen, Tres and Boxall, drastic yes but another two months of this and there will be more riders and hangers on than paying fans....in reality there will be hardly any if no changes.
