Belle Vue V Lakeside Mon 6th July
Odds On replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
could be worse it could be the Robins on Sky, similar to the debacle last week! -
the big error was made by Holder, he was more concerned about Tai with the inside run than the racers on the outside coming out of bend two. great result for British league racing!
-
gate one is the desired gate, its such an advantage its a bit like using model airplane fuel as opposed to methanol...perhaps this so called wonder track will come into its own later on but with nearly 33% of the meeting gone already it needs to happen pretty sharpish!

Leicester V Swindon Mon 29th June Sky Match
Odds On replied to robert72's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
the one thing that came across to me was how unprofessional a few of the Swindon riders were. -
having witnessed events at Bristol, Reading and Milton Keynes I have little belief a new stadium will be built,

The Dilemma Of Greg Hancock
Odds On replied to Grand Central's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
whats all the fuss here?..NP is hard on GH, GH seeks revenge with a push and a shove...imo he should of just went back in the pits and lumped him, that way it is out of the limelight and would more than likely got away without a fine. Don't be fooled by all this Mr Nice guy trash, he isn't a world champion by smiling all of the time! -

cant believe Rory Schlein has turned into a key board warrior now, seems he has plenty to say about NP on social media. -
Swc Final 2015
Odds On replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
do you guys really expect TV to bend over backwards for a sport that is nothing but shambolic?..the promoters/riders/team managers need to wake up and realise that the gravy train is almost dry. -

Heard the Poles/Aussies/Swedes have been practicing on the local roads, well that's what im hearing. -
I take it you have no relation to grass root speedway riders then.
-
I would guess the "engine" is the same but the set ups could be still adjusted!!!
-
which just goes to prove that you can have all the ability/help/money in the world but if you have nothing between the ears then you are merely pissing in the wind!

Lambert is a level above Howarth and Cook, so there is not a cat in hells chance of Lambert not riding, I would also prefer King to Cook.....why change it to make the foursome weaker? Rossiter fekked up on Monday that is why we are in the situation we find ourselves, stick with the guys who rode their hearts out on Monday I say.
-
all he had to do was tell Bomber to finish behind Batchelor in heat 8, this would of meant we could use the joker in the next race, either Bomber or Woffinden in place of Lambert, if this had happened the chances were that either of them would of beaten Morris and thus forcing at least a run off, but there would of been more pressure on the Aussies and who knows what would of happened....tactically amateurish by Rossiter imo.

Poole V Kings Lynn - Wednesday 3rd June.
Odds On replied to SteveLyric2's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Maybe Im falling out of love with the sport but I found it boring last night, sat in a pub watching it with a host of newbies and they thought it was boring and follow the leader. -
This rumour is bubbling in the greyhound world and would be great if true, anybody else heard anything?

Czech Sgp Prague
Odds On replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
okay lets try speaking some truth, if the riders like the track then it will be as smooth and slick as the M25, make no bones about it the riders see meetings as just another day at the office and in turn another pay day, more days in the office mean more pay days, grippy and rutty tracks risk less days in the office!!...why would they care that there is no entertainment for the paying public?...most riders cant ride grippy and rutty tracks because all they have ever been brought up on his slick tracks. Speedway is in the world of entertainment, lets be honest as far as value for money goes speedway is lagging behind, tonight for example the meeting will be nigh on two and half hours long and yet with only 23 minutes maximum of entertainment at the very most. -

a great meeting and a good advert for the sport, cant wait to fork out around £150 for Cardiff. -
really cant see what all the fuss is all about, those with half a speedway brain knew in March that this team was poor and at best if they reach/reached half way it would be a major achievement.
