If 'Google Translate' is working properly, Sportowefakty says it isn't being broadcast today and Tarnow are happy as the rain always follows the cameras there! -
I would really like some live speedway, but since i'm still full of cold, its freezing and i could stay in and watch Gollob, i will only come if there is a rain delay announced from Italy before 5pm!

Well after a few hours kip, here's my rundown for what its worth; First of all a big thank you to danish webmaster and his wife for picking me up from the airport and taking me to the track. Got there about 11.30 before they offically opened so had plenty of time to mingle with the riders and say hi to legend Erik Gundersen, which made my day. They over watered the track, with new bowsers, so the 2pm start time didn't materialise, so much coffee was needed to keep me going(2 hours kip the night before). Got started at around 2.40pm and immediately Hougaard and Jepsen Jensen showed their class by winning the first 2 heats by miles. in heat 3 Patrick Noergaard made a flyer but lost control on the 4th bend and had a really bad smash which ruled him out of the rest of the meeting, hope he's ok. When Rene Bach won heat 4 easily, the pattern was set, and he Jensen and Hougaard won all their riders from there on in, to take 12 point maximums into the Heat 20 showdown(How come the big guns all ended up in the last heat together??).As i said last night, i think, Bach overtook Jensen on lap 2 to win, Hougaard got pushed wide and never recovered. For me the real interest was in the riders i hadn't seen before, and of those the stand out for me was 5th place Mikkel B Jensen, only 16 last month, who's 10 points came with real style, showing a great style and good decision making, a superstar in the near future surely! 4th on 11th place was Simon Nielsen, who also fought well and mixed it with the big boys, would clearly do a good job in the PL.Others who showed glimpses of class were home 16 year old Mikkel Michelsen, and Team Viking bound Jonas B Andersen. Shame i didn't see Noergaard more, dissapointing days for Bjerregaard and Jakobsen, and little Lasse got a solid 10 points. Future sure looks good for Danish speedway, even more to come after the Rye House winning brigade age. Got a lift back into Copenhagen from ex Wolves rider, and now Slangerup team manager, Lars Munkedal, with Jan Steachmann as a fellow passenger, so had a good chat about Danish youngsters etc and i will now be cheering Slangerup on Wednesday in their crunch title decider, needing a win to clinch the title, good luck. Got back to the airport 3 hours before my flight was due, but this turned into a 5 hour wait due to Easy Jet delays, not a great way to end the day but what had gone before made it all worthwhile and the kindness and friendliness of those i met was wonderfull. No more foreign meetings for me now this year, was due to go to Lodz on Sunday but have cancelled due to the high cost of divorce!! -

My last foreign jaunt for 2010 and it looks like being a really good meeting. Only seen half a dozen of these riders before, especially excited to see Mikkel B Jensen, Mikkel Mickelsen and Simon Nielsen! -
One week without a reply now folks? Is it still happening? I could possibly have made it to Plymouth if i'd known the 'nearer' to London date wasn't going ahead, but impossible now. I'm sure your busy with finding riders, working around tracks ever changing play off dates etc but i'd really appreciate some news soon!

What a shame for the lad! Which other Finns do you think could do a good job in the PL? Makinen struggle before, but with a bit more experience now do you think he would be better if given another chance?
-
Says in Speedway Star that Teemu Lahti could be on his way to join Tera at Scunthorpe. Be good to see him over here if this happens.

Hope you will announce details of the date thats reachable from London soon so i can start planning, begging, cajolling etc??

Looks like i made the right choice with Rye House winning out over the rain in Tarnow(I've probably just cursed Hoddesdon tomorrow now!!) -

Was almost booked to go to this, until i remembered just before i booked that it clashed with Rye House tomorrow. Really wish i was there so i could see Gizatullin and karpov(2 of my missing top 5 i've not seen) but that would have meant missing two more of them at Rye(Andersson and Bjerre) and that is slightly closer to Bethnal Green than Tarnow!! Seen all the other riders on view, i think either of my 'newbies' could win, but depends which Zagar turns up and if Miskowiak fit yet. Hope it's a good stream, i'm sitting ready with my scorechart!! -

Really good stuff i thought. One classic round the outside leg trailing win from Buzz, good stuff too from Steve Worrall. Marc and Joe had good returns from injury, Evans was a different man from when i last saw him at Bournemouth and congrats to Lee Strudwick, great performance.Another fine advert for NL racing. -

The five remaining British riders i've yet to see all in one team, plus Buzz(Wrathall ain't bad too!!),what a prospect!! Add in Joe and Marc hopefully returning, two of my favourite young riders, and i would have gladly paid good money for this(Though dont tell Len or he might shake me down at the gate!!). -
Phew!!Bank balance couldn't stand a train ticket to Devon or Geordieland!!
-
I hope one of the three dates yet to be announced includes a track a bit nearer to London than any of the three listed thus far?

What a difference a few days can make,he was really struggling at Nykoping on Saturday, thought he was going to injure himself or others as he was bucking all over the place!7 of these riders were on show,Joel larsson+Oliver Berntzon were the pick of the bunch. -

And with MJ Jensen thats a good 5 riders and dont forget Poole will have to lose probably 2 riders for 2011.At reserve Torun may well have the Pulczynski brothers, but in my never ending search for riders i haven't seen before i'm hoping the likes of Pietrykowski,Wojiechowski and Przedpelski come over!!
