Would be a season to early for blackbird for me. I would look at a rider that has a poor season this year like sedgman. A big hitter like robbo. Travis is on a low average aswell. I also liked the look of that young French lad plus tress is a must.

That's ok. He was eastbourne no8, not sure if He is now though.
-
If.YOu are talking about Taylor, then He has already made his elite debut for eastbourne earlier in the season.
-
Are people starting to believe the hype yet or is Jacobs still going to be a better rider in a years time?
-
Cardinal sin you are most correct. ON the bigger tracks He will be even better. When He first saw that track he must have thought it was a scalextrix track when you are used to a lot bigger.

I did say the boy could ride. Will only get better.

Ever since that first bank holiday meeting doolan has looked slow.maybe if just needs to in back to his original set up. If seems very reluctant to attack the track in his first rides and even last night against some weaker opposition they were pulling away from him. -

You do sometimes have to wonder when yousee how many changes THe wasps have made. Also we are in a of a false position in the league at the moment due to we have raced more matches than a lot oe teams. We need to start picking up some points away. MOst other teams are. -

I hope the bikes Hart used Tonight are not the ones if is going to use on Saturday. Don't know what has happened to doolan lately but It's not good to watch. He looks really slow and looks like a novice in most of his opening rides lately.it wouldn't be so bad if if didn't write a column in the paper telling up the other riders need to to get stuck into the track conditions and rarely doing it himself. I'm sure He was well beaten by a nl rider in his first race -

SHould be interesting to see how some of our riders go on their own. Will doolan get heat one. Don't think He has won heat one for a while. It's hard to pick the winner though -

did anyone also notice that there was no lifting exiting the corners or down the straights and even out of the starts. If the bikes were dying on the turns then i should imagine they went up a few teeth to try to stop that happening but then they were probably spin up more. I bet an old upright wouldnt suffer as bad with the new silencers. I wonder if anyone will try one out and find out. -
im suprised at buster if you do go up. I would have thought he would have been one of the front runners to try and get speedway changed for the good in this country. If you do go up its only gonna help the bspa or mc change the rules every year to suit there own needs. I would imagine if poole had signed the best youngster for their team next year none of this would be going on. im suprised at buster if you do go up. No i think his name is bob nicholls.

who says its prem. Things could be in a really bad state and could just be national league or no speedway at all. If prem we have a a choice of riders at the moment as lets face it only 2 of this years team were elite class.
-
might not be such a bad thing if thats the case. as long as its run properly and secures the future of the club. To be honest i dont think the sport has much time left unless something major happens.
-
totally agree steve. Maybe they are just gonna say that this is our last season in the top flight if things dont change and the club will then go up for sale if it doesnt work out. Also that they tried to sign linus but it didnt come off. Could be many things. Could be that they are trying to put a good team next season and they have signed 2 or 3 world class heat leaders and they need the fans to support them. when i read a paper i am normally sitting down anyway.
-
maybe they are just trying to build a bit more interest up as there is not much at the moment.

and watch them make the same cock up again next year. I wonder if anyone has actually told louis that us the fans who keep their business afloat think they do a crap presenting job and totally wreck what little atmosphere there is allowed to be. It also does my head in that they introduce the riders and then 2 minutes late introduce them again always to the 20 people in the main stand that give a half hearted clap. Please louis introduce them once and then get on with it. -

no more first bend problems than any other track. I think there was 3 incidents in 21 races. -

its such a shame that tonight of all nights that the racing was a total flop. Not one overtake until heat 15. Its the first time ever that i have left a meeting early it was that boring. Another great shame that i begged 8 of my friends that have never been to speedway before and they wont be going to another one. As an ipswich fan i am so sad that after waiting years and years for a big meeting to be put on the racing was that poor. I can now see it being many years to get another big meeting. -

Is there an overflow car park? Whats the fulll capacity at this venue? The last time i went there it was packed and there wasnt that many people in there. Its gonna be a lot of waiting around with not much to do to make sure you get a seat. -

Was a shame about Scott pulling out as after Harris had said he was not in it(or his manager) it was down to Scott to do some blasting around the fence, but then he was gone, then Danny pulled out after a couple of painfull laps by the look of it. That only really left Sheilds Troy and Robert to battle it out for the title. And Robert made a great pass after tailing Sheilds for 9 laps, and deserved to win, being the best rider on display and cruising to 4 easy wins in his heats by a straight every time. Well done to Robert in what has been a really good return to our team, and hope he picksup an award at the end of season presentation.
