They haven't used total loss engines for for over 20 years, and there is nothing stopping anyone maybe adding a binding agent maybe a little oil if the track drainage goes into underground tanks. I think its also different shale used these days or a different mix. Shale isn't cheap these days. I think Scunthorpe use a different Shale to most.

Indoor Meeting 27th December,arena Uk,
Baldyman replied to ica's topic in Grasstrack, Sidecar, Short Track and Cycle Speedway
They can obviously afford to have people not turn up, like you I looked on website and it only mentioned advanced tickets, I also phoned the number but no answer on that either. I wasn't going to drive 140 miles there to find I could not get in. IT'S a bit silly advertising on here if its not going to checked or updated. -

Can you pay on the day? -
With the wage cap, why would cook want to travel all the way to ipswich every week from his home base? Having said that, with the make up of our team, a second top heat leader was probably never in cl thoughts. He seems to think we have a winning team, and its only his choice of how the team is put together. If we start losing and the crowds drop even more, that's his problem to try and sort out. Plus he thinks Morten will be challenging for the number one jacket so obviously we will have a riders in our team with a near 10 average. Although cl must be the only person in speedway that thinks that is going to happen.

Well done to the diamonds they rode the track very well and didn't fall off for the fun of it. I See some are still trying to make excuses for the crowd but like most of our riders performances it was yet again pathetic for what the occasion was. SOme poor performances again from the so called pencilled in for next year, worrying times ahead and I would imagine a lot of head shaking over the winter.
-
I didn't say they did loose it for us, it just makes their scores look a little better than they are. Although both of those riders are not the most exciting to watch, I hope they are both in next seasons team. Louis mentioned looking at Matt again for next year, for me he would be one of the last of this years team to be looking at. Stefan isn't looking so appealing now either, but he has a few hard crashes recently, and I dare say his machinery has taken a battering, but his last few appearances haven't been great to be honest. Aljack they can't score 30 as they race together 3 times so only 1 of them can win.

I think the witches will get the cod treatment in this and be well and truly battered -

Were the rockets that good last night or the witches poor? A few of the ipswich riders looked terrible last night, with what looked like not a lot of effort. Some good stuff from the rockets on what must have been one of the slickest i have ever seen. The cut back worked well for the rockets but I don't think any ipswich rider noticed this, apart from north. -
IS that his real name or am I missing a joke here

Yeah that's true, he had plenty of time, but judging by his comments he obviously didn't think so. I also wouldnt want to see him in a witches suit again, not unless with a proper number 1. Never say never as its often down to who fits with averages -

Can't see Doolan riding for ipswich again if his comments in the speedway star are anything to go by, having said its nice to be racing for a club that appreciate him. Meaning ipswich didn't? -
WOuld love to see klindt, now he would be a proper number 1. He was so far ahead the other week.

I must admit I did have A little chuckle to myself self when the presenter said the back on form Taylor poole. He really is having trouble at home on the more grippy track. Awsome from Lanham and Morten in 15 and both made some great outsid passes again and Leigh also made a cheeky pass around the curb to. Such a classy rider when he is riding like that.

I think most will be back, maybe 2 won't

Matt ford wouldn't hesitate if it helped to put a winning team together
-
Oh well, that's the treble out of reach then, maybe next year. How about a bit of average manipulation in the last few meetings to help for next season.
