  1. I really am struggling to think of any rider that can come in and do a true heat leaders job.
  2. Maybe a new danish rider?. Looks like the rebels have an Awsome team if that's the case. We will struggle with their top end but we may be stronger at reserve. Same as aljack I would worry about the final heats.
  3. Or even a proper heat leader that Kevin could back up. Looks like a strength in depth team on the cards. Lasse will be a big miss and was still on a pretty low average really. Has kozza signed for anyone yet? Could do with a masters or Morris now.
  4. Scoring reserves are key. Especially on away tracks when one or 2 riders tend not to do so well. Not to sure about north, have only seen him do well against ipswich so far. Maybe a rebels fan can say what he is like week in week out.
  5. Pretty good team there aljack. Adam is a bargain on that average if he could do a whole season without injury. At the moment though I would imagine rohan is in our team until I hear or read otherwise
  6. THe second team by a long way.although I would be happy with the first team aswell. The second team would also score points on away tracks with ease which is what's needed to win the league.
  7. Wishful thinking as i.don't think they will all fit.
  8. They certainly didn't seem to like The thinner air
  9. Good news? I keep hearing people say he is on a bargain average for next season so let's hope you are correct. I can only go by what i have seen this season. As for Pete let's hope next season he doesn't duck out me using a tactical when we need to use it most. So far a reasonable start to next seasons team.
  10. But we do get to see the some of the future world stars in the making , like Heeps Morris Lasse to name just a few. I have enjoyed watching someone like mills giving every race his best effort, than watching bobby trying to make one decent corner in a race. Every type of business has to cut their cloth accordingl otherwise they fold.
  11. Don't forget about the other things that all add up,like new air fence panels. St johns, paramedic, various insurance, flights, hotels, referee and diesel for tractors and rent. It soon adds up.
  12. Even teams that are put together on the cheap, still don't come cheap. Also a lot of other clubs make extra revenue from food and drinks kiosks. We don't so it all adds up. You know I don't wear rose tinted, but I genuinely believe that the money kept the club going.
  13. I would imagine its kept the club going when we didn't have a sponsor. That's just a guess though. I am sure others will have their own ideas
  14. What's wrong with Jordan? You need a racer to partner morten. He is English so won't miss any meetings.
  15. E I don't think that team has enough fire power on away tracks to win the league. 3 or 4 riders there that can often go missing on away tracks. Maybe even 5.
  16. Not sure about the Brighton indoor is running but the the indoor ice speedway at telford is 26th Feb.
  17. You are right that team wouldn't need a number one. We could easily get away with a rider like Matt or frampton or kozza .

  19. A far better choice than Steve lol. Although 15 years ago Steve may have been ok.
  20. I think Morris average is still pretty low. SO you could have Kevin and Morris easily in the same team.
  21. Crowd was ok. Well done to doolan but the racing again was shocking. ONly 2 passes all night and they were not good ones. MUst say the fireworks were very good though .
  22. Was coming to this if a few decent riders on show. Len is really not doing himself any favours. Strange way to run a business.
