The track isn't too big, its just the wrong shape for its size. The showground is a bigger track, but its shape makes for good racing, the same as polish tracks. Basically the entrance and exits to the corners need taking in so there is more room. And because a track is a metre from the curb, this will then make the track smaller around the inside and provide more room to race. Once that happens the track will be fine. They could then add a bit more clay to the track mix to give some extra bite. Maybe before next season you should write to DH and say you will buy season tickets if the track work is done. It will be another investment from him so maybe he would be more willing to do it if he can see he will be getting a return.

Over riding by certain riders is probably the most common factor. I also think we have quite a grippy track with its mix of clay and shale. you often see away riders struggling in the turns on there first visits. Also with It's reasonably fast straight's the riders enter the turns at a pretty high speed.

There isn't that much difference between this years and last years suits, which is handy as now won't have to buy a new replica from track shop

Should be interesting to see what they do improve by. The same was said about last years team, but not all improved and those that did wasn't by much, speedway can be a strange sport at times. Given an injury free run our 2 starting reserves should put the most on their averages. Most of all though we have Atleast 4 racers to provide some excellent entertainment.

I mainly agree with what you say, but think morten could average 7 if he learns to gate again.

Although we will solid all the way through, along with doolan getting back to his best, we also need morten becoming a proper heat leader by adding 1.5 to his average and for Taylor to improve slightly. I see rohan moving out of reserve after first averages change. Somerset, Berwick, Workington, Redcar and Newport also look very good teams to me.

How many meetings were they guaranteeing on season ticket? I take It, It was 23.

So according to another thread on here, we are the bookies favourites. I wonder if that has anything to do with how well rohan has done in Aus.
