  1. Plus he then couldnt race for the horrors on a Thursday, which is why if is at a Saturday track
  2. Then Lanham could go somewhere else on a steal of an average and start banging in some good scores again, even at foxhall.
  3. Shame for Taylor, if not fitted back into our team he should easily get fixed up if another team is looking to strengthen. Also good to read that he wants to come back next season, although it would be bad pr saying anything else.
  4. Like I said, I can't remember, but obviously there have been a few. Probably doesn't happen very often. Wow, how did Berwick do that season?
  5. I can't ever recalling a rider having an average as high as Matt's being at reserve. So if Matt starts to put in some reasonable scores for a while, its likely that Morten or maybe Rohan could end up at reserve for July?
  6. Let's hope Matt will score better at reserve, he should win heat 2's easily enough, and will hopefully cover what Rohan doesn't score at number 2, a very tough position to ride in. Welcome back to Morton, let's again hope it doesn't take him too long to get back into it. With rye having a proper number 1 in their team, it could yet again be very close. I shall be cautious and go for a draw.
  7. Well wherever they put rohan, he will find it much harder now. Do we know who will be at 1 when the next set are out, not that I can see it making any difference our scoring power.
  8. So will Morten be back for Thursday? As we also have a meeting on the Friday and on the Monday.
  9. Didn't hear that or fast forwarded past it. It should help having Morten back in the side. Let's hope it doesn't take him too long to get up to speed, although it will take a few meetings. If he comes back and gets off to a flyer, that will help. Let's hope he can now go through the season without anymore injuries. He is a confidence rider that doesn't need knocking any more.
  10. Can't help to agree with nearly everything you have said there. Although the way morten rides doesnt exite me much, there is no doubt in my mind that given a good injury free run and some money to spend on some pretty fast engines, he could be one of the top riders at this level.
  11. So what would you do then if morten is ready to ride in 2 weeks time and Taylor in 6 to 8 weeks time?
  12. Well morten is already starting to do some laps, so you would have thought it would be him. Haven't heard anything about Taylor. If Taylor doesn't ride for us again this season, will that be the last time we have seen him wear a witch in his career?
  13. Pretty amazing recovery when you think about it. We certainly need him back, cos on his day he can win races and at the moment that seems to be where we are having problems.
  14. So if that is the rules, how come we are still using rr ?
  15. Does anyone have any idea if either Taylor or morten are anywhere close to making a comeback? This is where I shall make a comment that some won't like, and say I only think rr should be available for one month or a certain amount of meetings.
  16. Adding in more clay to the shale mix would help bind it together and would produce more grip. I Think you will find most tracks classed as grippy have a good amount of clay in the mix.
  17. Oh well, was hoping a new young up and coming rider was being given a chance to impress, since according to Chris, it is vital they continue to do so. Can now see rr given the chance for fair while. If the sale of Danny keeps the club afloat for another couple of years or until we sell Cameron and. Rohan, that can only be a good thing. I see us being in the prem for many a season yet, and I am perfectly happy with that.
  18. It's been said that interesting news in paper before, but It's been anything but, just a ploy to sell papers. Can't think of too many riders around and not sure of averages, but has Travis got a team place anywhere? Has his work permit been sorted out? Would be best to try and add a new asset though.
  19. You are half right with the smart arse bit, but which half? You are half right with the smart arse bit, but which half?
  20. I can't believe there is not one single fan of either team that can be bothered to post something on here. About 5 mins away so hope It's still on even though just driven through heavy rain. 21. LOoks like you need to guess. I hope its on cos I got an hour journey now.

  23. The track isn't too big, its just the wrong shape for its size. The showground is a bigger track, but its shape makes for good racing, the same as polish tracks. Basically the entrance and exits to the corners need taking in so there is more room. And because a track is a metre from the curb, this will then make the track smaller around the inside and provide more room to race. Once that happens the track will be fine. They could then add a bit more clay to the track mix to give some extra bite. Maybe before next season you should write to DH and say you will buy season tickets if the track work is done. It will be another investment from him so maybe he would be more willing to do it if he can see he will be getting a return.
