Berwick V Ipswich Pl Sat June 8th
Baldyman replied to Normski's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Cook makes your team stronger than it would have been, so I think that enough for a home win. Morten has been riding really well up until Thursday where he may have had bike problems, he doesn't do anything at Berwick, interesting to see if that trend carries on. Lanhams bikes look really slow so that's not good either. Berwick to win by 14 -

Didn't morten have problems with bike before match start? Maybe riding his number2 machine with a tired old engine. He did stick to the curb last night though, something he hasn't been so much of lately. With Barker I'm really surprised he has never tried the cut back in heat 1, fantastic to watch, but he doesn't have many strings to his bow. He never seems to do much till heat 13 most weeks, although his efforts are clearly to be seen. As for Adam, another 100 percent effort but his bikes did look slow last night, and we're not so revvy last night, maybe needs to try an extra tooth on the back. Also I'm sure if he enters the corner a metre or 2 later especially bend 3, he would find it much easier. I don't know if he gets much advice but you never see Louis around the track actually having a look at how they are riding. You can't see everything from the pits -

We can't agree with jackal, someone needs to come on here and poo poo his post. I know a few that won't agree though. -

I'm sure he will get a team place quick enough, like jackal I wouldn't mind seeing him at Ipswich, but you just don't know how long before his next injury comes along. I can't think of another rider that's injured so often. -

I did say Newcastle are the strongest team and it's just been proved. You just don't know what our riders will score before the meeting apart from Ritchie, always 4 or 5. -

A few years back lakeside were letting everyone in for free for one meeting and still only managed about 4 thousand if I remember correctly. -

This match really will show us if we are serious title contenders or not. Newcastle to me look like the strongest team in the league at the moment, we must beat them over 2 legs to win the league if we get that far, so this will see if we could or not, and this is with an inform morten and cam on our side -

Richard was very good tonight, but he certainly knew when the tapes were going up on more than one occasion, but since he was racing for Britain tonight who cares. He certainly wasn't the only one, doesn't that silly women ever call the starts back? -

I think it's pretty overcast in most of Suffolk at the moment, let's hope that's just how it stays. -

So if no Barker who would it be? King? Not sure if he is racing that night. Is there any news on Barker? -

So what are lions fans going to do now? Shut up and put up, or stop going which may end in the club closing. A tough decision for fans who have been waiting so long to see speedway return to their town. -

Well those who think it's cheap or should be more pay more then, as you obviously think it's worth more. Personally I don't think it's worth more, or even the same. Like I said will find out Thursday by the size of the crowd, if I'm wrong then the crowd should be bigger than normal since its good value. -
Personally I think I prefer the premier league, I find the racing to be much closer and sometimes far more exciting. I would rather pay premier prices though, at the moment I think the prices are a bit to high. I would rather watch someone like Adam learning his trade instead of some not very good foreigner which most elite teams are full of.

Well if they charged more, do you think as many would go? Find out Thursday by the size of the crowd. -

I can't believe it's normal price for this. Can the tracks charge what they want? -
