  1. Reserves can win you meetings and tonight Edinburgh reserves totally outclassed and outscored ours by a long way. From the scores it looked like a solid team effort from Edinburgh. Well done to them. Glad Barker is back, looks straight up to speed already.
  2. We hope he scores a max too. Let's be honest, do you really think differentl Ben cares about what reception he will get? Will be the same as when Craig next races at our place, they will be even more determined to race harder and score well.
  3. So if he can get 3 or 4 points that will do just fine, since apparently Ritchie doest score there.
  4. Not sure how this one will go really, but looking at the teams and what I saw last night, I think we may just miss out on a point. Home win by 12
  5. Why are you questioning me? I've not said he should have have up. I said he was a fair way last. But to answer your question, no I don't give up, but may back my pace off a bit to save my self and equipment sometimes.
  6. I'm not the one saying he should have given up. He was right in carrying on going round just in case of breakdown or a rider coming to grief. The problem with is, he has such a terrible awkward style, he very rarely looks in control of where he is going and so it proved. Oh and to the other chap, I did a bit of speedway when younger, also the Isle of Mann tt twice and currently race karts in a British championship, so yeah I've got some idea about participating in sport
  7. He was in last place by a fair way, and wasn't going to catch anyone in front of him.
  8. Would have been investing to see what would have happened if Allen hadn't have got injured in the first race. Was Lykke our only choice of guest? Never seen him do anything at Ipswich and so it proved again. And we have him tomorrow aswell. We made very hard work of that really. Some great support from the tigers fans, well done to them.
  9. So what happened to the German lad, did he just give up and home or was he sacked?
  10. Ricky would score more than both our guests put together tonight. Was kasper really the only choice?
  11. Your right it's not all about trophies, unless you support Poole, but it's been a long time since we have been this close to possibly winning the league.
  12. Would be a good idea if both sets of promoters got together and agreed half price admission for away fans, then we may both be needing more than one coach. As for the 43 pound, by the time I got to Ipswich and paid for a car park, probably same as would cost in a car. Do a car share even cheaper.
  13. Barker is a huge loss to us, and may cost us some silverware, but time will tell
  14. It's one of those things, if he scores well then good choice, if he doesn't then bad choice. On the face of it though, it looks the best choice.
  15. Will be disappointed if we don't hit 65 points, but like someone else mentioned, let's hope someone from the tigers puts up a battle
  16. Am I missing something? Again Bobby has been mentioned, so do polish riders now not have to have an acu licence to race in the premier?
  17. I honestly don't see how Bobby keeps getting team places. He is just one big flop after another.
  18. Again Bobby can't race in premier unless he changes his licence. Fisher already has an established premier average, so i am sure that would be used, so he would probably be our best option if he was interested. Wouldn't Hougaard also fit?
  19. Well I hope Chris can come up with a rider better than bjerre, I don't think he improved at all in the last season and 3 quarters. I know there may not be many choices around, but hope we could find someone more consistent. Maybe look to an elite league rider? Or I would maybe go for kozza Smith
  20. With comments that funny, you should have been at the fringe at the Edinburgh festival
  21. What's the length of a riders hair to do with anything?
  22. Maybe some fans of other clubs that have lowered prices for some meetings like Somerset or Sheffield could answer if it makes much difference to the crowd levels on those nights. Personally I think speedway should be a slightly cheaper anyway to make it more appealing, but could most clubs survive if lower prices didn't attract the crowds?
