Not the old morten might come good line again, people have been saying this for years, and it never happens, and next season ain't gonna be any different. What he is though in this league is as has been stated, a middle order man of between 6.5 to 7.0. Sometimes a match winner and sometimes can score very few. Most teams have them.

The season ticket sounds great value since it includes programme and parking. -
Personally I can't see Berwick winning, Scunthorpe Newcastle Redcar Somerset all look to pretty good teams. Workington I would say look the strongest and along with us in think maybe the top six. But as we all know injuries can play a massive part in the outcome, and the teams that make changes at the right time. I think we certainly have the best potential at reserve through out the season.
-
I would have also had Leigh everyday of the week. Morten is never going to get any better, but neither is Leigh, but as has been mentioned, Leigh is far better on most of the away tracks. I believe Leigh would have been the difference in us possibly winning the league instead of us maybe reaching the play offs.

Witches legends? Louis? Doncaster? Loram? Or Nicholls and king? Being a dane we may get to see iversen bjerre pedersen and Andersen, that would be great start.
-
Well if he should be a 7 and he starts the season not on a 7 then the other teams should ride under protest against an illegal team.
-
Good prices, good race track, they may just be on to a winner. If you are a single adult though that drives there it will end up costing you more, as I doubt they will be wavering the 2 pound parking charges.

It's not the first time either is it, I wonder why that is? Not cheap?

Ha ha, shown in the first few minutes. -
For me the key is morten, if he can improve his average even by the slightest margin we will do okay, Adams average will definitely go up, but I think the biggest average improver will be Hawkins.
-
Really, didn't see that one coming, should do a good job I think.
-
Some pretty good solid teams being put together by most of the clubs so far. Workington look pretty good and so far so do Redcar. Somerset have gone for all out top end. Could be a close season again.
-
you do have to win at home and as you can see I put we will go unbeaten at home, that's why I would prefer Leigh for away meetings to get some extra points. We obviously both have different opinions which is good. Looking forward to next season, bring it on. So who has ideas on team riding order? Can we put morten back to 3 or 4 and put Tungate at 5
-
Yes a school boy error was made, hence Adam looking for a team place before it was pointed out to them about the reductions. You would think and hope that the people responsible for putting the team together would know the rules. Mr sin I take it you don't watch Ipswich away? Leigh is by far the better rider although the averages are similar. But that's the team and it's one that should keep the home fans happy by winning all home matches, which is something that hasn't happened for a fair few season's. It's definitely a team capable of making the top 6, possibly top 3.
-
But you very rarely see Leigh have bad meetings on away tracks, and you need to score plenty of away points to be serious contenders. Now i am not saying this year's team are not contenders, but I would just prefer Leigh. Leigh tends to score 5 6 7 or 8, morten tends to score more of 10 3 8 3 11 3 .
-
its a good team, but I would definitely have had Leigh in there for his experience and away tracks, and knowledge. Not a lot of experience between 5 of those, but all 5 could have very big futures.
-
Surely it was obvious morten was always going to be in the team, aljack told us this ages ago. As for why not all 7 improving their average, they might, but I think one will stay about the same, which isn't getting worse, so that's got to be good surely. Will be interesting to see how many of our riders averages do improve.
-
Gino also on the same night made light work of passing doolan also, he being an ex Ipswich number 1. I don't remember his gating being that great, so if that's been improved, he could easily add to his starting average, looks like we have 6 riders that could all up their average, with the other rider staying roughly the same.
-
Good signing, will only improve through out the season at home, don't know how he races big tracks. Can we still fit Adam in at reserve also, or can we pull off another awesome signing in Lambert?
-
Trouble is, they shouldn't need telling. It's always been sold as a family sport, and it's not exactly family friendly pricing is it. Maybe the price increase is to pay for some extra lighting which actually faces the speedway track, so we can all see what's going on a bit better. Along with the air fences being installed at all tracks, hopefully better lighting will also be mandatory one day. Back to the Ipswich lighting, maybe they just need a clean, as I don't remember it everything so murky as it was last season
-
Lynn and lakeside have card machines, I just thought most things did these days. Well my local pub love us paying by card, they say it's better for them for some reason.
-
Well it's often mentioned about speedway moving forward with the times, and card machines have been around for years now.
-
So has the season ticket price gone up from last season? Purchasing a season ticket saves on the cost of 2 and half meetings. Also just another question, does it cost a lot of money for the club to have its own card machine? As I can't think of anywhere I go these days that doesn't have one
-
no you haven't missed anything as you well know, i am just being disappointed in advance. As we already know no Leigh and maybe no Adam. short sighted? Ipswich? Never. Unfortunately the future of the sport is out weighed by the here and now.
-
Well don't come on here then, simple, or maybe you just are.
