  1. Not sure we will have any riders left to race on Thursday after last night and tonight
  2. Oh right, I didn't even know there was rugby world cup in this country. Thanks for that.
  3. What difference would it make to the rugby club if you had another meeting? Do they play on Saturday nights? Sorry I know nothing about rugby.
  4. Sounds a lucky escape, didn't he already have a broken finger? He seems like one of those riders that have many big offs.
  5. With Rohan now out, it really looks like we will end up with no silverware again. It really is going to be a disastrous end to the season. 2 chances lost last season to. Let's hope there is some fire left in our riders, Ritchie showed plenty last night. Personally I would only keep Ritchie and cam, from this season and maybe Ben and Adam, whatever happens morten has to go.
  6. Yes Barker should be scoring more, and often does in the elite league, which is strange, but at least he entertains, morten does nothing, talks the talk, but very rarely delivers, and doesn't exactly entertain either. Management have to take blame for leaving him at 5 also, they should have moved him to 2 ages ago, would it have made a difference, yes I believe it would have. Let's hope he we don't lose the cup tomorrow too.
  7. Taxi for morten. Well done Ritchie, great to see a bit of fight from one of our riders. Also well done to the comets, good luck in the finals.
  8. So someone doesn't like what was said obviously because it was offensive, but someone can call people thick, sounds like double standards to me.
  9. Although we won there earlier in the year which I watched, the track was really slick and we just gated and stayed infront, much the same as what the comets done to us on Thursday. The way our team is set up at the moment I wouldn't be surprised to see a 30 point loss, but I shall try and stay positive even though I don't think we have a cat in hells chance.
  10. Yes we may be able to use tactical rides, it doesn't mean we will score well from them though.
  11. Is that a good or bad thing? Don't think he is that great but maybe he was the only choice. I would imagine that now firmly puts the final nail in the coffin.
  12. Ipswich, I'm sure we will have a very good go at throwing this away too.
  13. So we already need to get a point there too, or even better.
  14. And how does this work, normal points scoring or overall total of race points? Think Edinburgh will win with us second.
  15. Oh right i haven't seen anything about it, who else is in our little group?
  16. He done well for us at number 2 before, so that's a good choice. Is it a play off match or an outstanding league match?
  17. Lewis Kerr looked pretty good last Thursday, or Bates for me.
  18. We didn't hear any shouting, cheering, clapping or any noise making instrument. It was totally lifeless where we were. I was very surprised when I read your word atmosphere. I'm sure I turned round once to have a look and people were asleep.
  19. Let's hope it's not one of those, it's still on track is fine, it's off type of nights
  20. A lot could depend on how their new swede goes at our track. I just have the feeling we won't win this over 2 legs even though we seem to do well there in the past. The past is the past though. Sorry, not feeling very confident.
  21. Not so good lately, I think the diamonds will win this having the second leg, but only by about 6, but that's all you need.
  22. But like I was saying, wasn't only his fault, although I wish it was. I really don't rate him at all. His 10 years experience count for nothing though when you are the best you are ever going to be. Personally I hope he is nowhere near the team again next year, the same as I have for the last couple of years. We really will struggle to win anything With a rider like him in our team. I dare say he will be in it next season again though
  23. This is gonna be a strange one for me, but in a way I am going to stick up for morten slightly. Yes he has experience and lots of it, but those that have seen him race on tracks of that type know it's not the best for him, so in my mind he should have been moved to number 2 for this meeting, so in a way the team manager also let us down. Also I see no one has mentioned rohan, he had also only scored 3 points from his first 4 races, morten had only had 3 rides for his 3 points, so you could actually blame rohan more. Like last season his form seems to have dipped in the last month or so. Has he really pushed on as much as most thought he would in his second season and also getting elite league experience. In the premier league games don't think he has hardly much, if at all.
  24. From what I have seen of morten previously at that track and tracks like it, it just doesn't suit his riding style, and leaving him at 5 was not the greatest of ideas. That's just my opinion and, but I'm sure someone else will say something else.
