  1. I am very hard to please, as already pointed out, but I would be extremely happy with Ritchie just as I was with Barker last season. It would be a great start to team building, but it's not how you start, it's how you finish.
  2. but Leigh isn't nearly family. Let's be honest, if morten is still in the team its probably for only one reason as aljack used to say
  3. Smith does fit along with rohan cam and a number 1, just look at my team 4 or 5 pages back yes he does fit, basically replaces morten
  4. So Adam is after a team place and now Leigh, and with a new number 1 that's 3 changes. Looks like my worst nightmare that morten may be staying. As for the number 1, please don't let it be Allen. Lawson has left Workington and Ritchie Newcastle, so it could possibly be one of those, please don't let it be lawson. for me Wells would be best bet, please not Kevin, won't Rohan be our second heat leader?
  5. It's still going to be tough next season, unless Cameron can stick another 2 points on his starting average, which would see him nearly a 9 point rider. No doubting he will improve again, but can he improve 2 points? I would imagine next seasons biggest average improver will be Ritchie. What we need next season is not morten who's average will stay the same but another rider who's average will improve.
  6. But you don't put your inconsistent riders at number 5 in the team were they are normally partnered by a reserve, that's asking for heat advantages against, they should be partnered with a more reliable rider, which at one point he was.
  7. No I'm saying it was the amazing improvement in cam that made the team as good as it was, if he hadn't of improved as much as he did, I think the team would have been mid table. We were pipped at the post having led that meeting by 6 twice but certain riders failed to perform like they did many times during the season. And I will say it again, I personally don't think the team was superb, it was made into a very good one by the great season Cameron had. I watched them often enough on enough different tracks to make my opinion. We may have actually finished top if the team riding order was left alone, once morten was moved to 5 we started to fade in meetings. Your opinion it was superb, my opinion it wasn't. That's why I love different opinions, although it does sometime seem we are not allowed to have different opinions.
  8. Didn't we still loose at home to Workington with 6 of them? After that we certainly were not going to win the playoffs anyway. Yes we may have lost one of the cups due to injury. Superb team? I wouldn't have gone that far, although most of the time they were pretty good, well most were anyway. The improvement of cam made that team good. That's just my opinion though and everyone else is entitled to theirs.
  9. Plus we couldn't win anything with those 6 and one of the best heatleaders, so how are we going to win with a less heat leader. I think aljack was right all along saying certain riders are only in the team because of family connections. I can forsee another drop in attendance.
  10. So we have all had a go at team building, but what do people actually think the team will be?
  11. You get no where not taking risks, ask somerset that changed their reserves just before the playoffs.
  12. Sounds like one unhappy Ipswich fan, shame you were treated as you were, as it's hard enough to find people to put money into the club, no matter how big or small the amount.
  13. Some really good and exciting to watch teams being put together by some on here, shame the promotion don't look on here for a few ideas.
  14. Is that last bit a joke? If not why should morten be a certain starter?
  15. Hawkins on a sub 4 average will be very much sought after. Let's hope he stays with us. Worrall would be a great choice, and if he still races for Lynn next season too, then not much travel for him to get to us as Lynn race on a Wednesday. What ever our team is, I just don't want to see morten in it. Other names to consider are boxall and willko
  16. I think they were just banger fans, as they certainly love a high visibility coat.
  17. So why all this with Barker? Is it just a result of the late cancellation of his attendance at the 16 lapper? Shame if he doesn't race for us again, nearly always entertaining, unlike Allen who is one of the ultimate gating tarts. I really hope we don't see him in Ipswich colours again, but that's just my opinion and many may disagree. It would certainly lessen my weekly visits if that's the case. As well as it being a sport, I think it's more of an evenings entertainment for me, so I want to be entertained.
  18. Worrall would be good, but isn't the reason he is quitting Newcastle to race in Poland on a Sunday? Which means we would be without him against Sunday tracks. Personally I don't fancy Allen, not very entertaining. I read Louis is considering all of this seasons team, that's a shame.
  19. Well if less money is going to be available, then people will be trying to bend the rules even more to keep their teams competitive, as they won't want to lose any customers.
  20. Was going by someone else's 38. Is that okay? And I am guessing the points limit would be whatever suits Poole's needs best.
  21. Rohan and cam at reserve would really leave us weak in other places.
  22. Apart from Doyle or cook and maybe Worrall, which i doubt we would get any of, are there any other proper number 1's? Not that I can think of. I would have Barker back everyday. You are probably right about Plymouth though
  23. Nielsen at number 2, he hasn't scored a single point on his last 3 visits, and that was from reserve.
