Ipswich Vs Newcastle Monday May 5th 2.30pm
Baldyman replied to CardinalSin's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
not really, just Chris saying what he thought, which was we should have done better, and then the riders saying how their day went. Like superblue I would also have liked to ask a question or two, but that's probably why there wasn't any. -

As for the fans forum, wouldn't it be a lot better if we could actually ask questions of the riders and promoter? -

I'm sure there was a good one against lakeside once in blistering sunshine. -

I think the only difference between this meeting and the good Friday meeting will be the track. This time it will be over watered before the meeting and the first 3 or 4 races will be very slippery. Apart from that it will still be more or less non existent racing, an away win, and people going home disappointed. The only reason there is a meeting on bank holidays is so that the promoters can make some money to cover other meetings when the crowd is smaller and they probably don't make any money. I fear another loss and after that the crowds dropping even more, and let's be honest, they haven't been great on a Thursday so far this season. -
She supports Workington, not Ipswich, so maybe her house is in reasonable order
-
Well there you go. Surely our riders know they have to be out in the dirt. We never do very well at tracks where you need to be in the dirt. We will get more stuffings at Sheffield and Berwick too
-
We need a few racers in our team, some struggle to pass water, and must be on the wrong part of the track to be passed that often.
-
It may only be the second meeting, but it's clear that certain riders are seriously out of form and others are not living up to expectations.

I would imagine rr may do better than morten would have, it's not a track he has ever scored that great on, and the last time we used Chris, he scored 8, so you never know

But if he was in the team he wouldn't have been a number one, but it does seem morten has so far been the better option. -

Wow looking at Heeps average, really goes to show he so far struggled for form. -

Unfortunately I didn't make it, but from the updates I've seen, I shall say, well done morten -

Let's hope they do aswell. With Adam back in the team I think we will just about have enough for the win. The scorpions do have a few riders that can go very well at Ipswich though -

Hoping I can get from Wolverhampton in time for this one tonight. It's gonna take plenty of excessive speed and good luck with traffic though. -

I wonder if anything different is to be done to the track for this week -

Rye House V Ipswich 20 April League Cup
Baldyman replied to Vincent Vega's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I said before the season started that this was the season to see if rohan is ever going to make a top world class rider, and so far, even though a lot of money has been invested in his equipment, it doesn't look like he is going to improve again. Okay its early days, but so far his average has dropped, so maybe he is going to be only a 7 point premier rider. So its the same as morten, but I guess morten gets more stick because of his vast experience. Just out of interest, you seem to always stick up for morten, why is that? Are you a sponsor or relative or something, or maybe just a rider that you like? -

Has rohan scored 14 for ipswich yet this season? -
So rohan morten and Cameron all down, and watching them it's noticeable. Let's hope they can improve or it could be another one of those seasons. The first league match on Thursday, and with any reasonable track prep we should be strong enough on our own track if we have our own 7 riders.

Don't know when they are going to re dress the track with poor weather forecast for most this week, but it definitely needs sorting out and fast. Most fans can take losing if the racing has been good. Personally I would split cameron and morten up, especially at home where we know gino could possibly fill the number 3 or 4 slot.
