Who Will Make The Playoffs ?

Surely all Edinburgh would have done is finish top to the qualifying group. Having said that, I do believe a piece of silverware or prize money should be presented to the winner of the qualifying table, then maybe more teams may put an effort into winning it. Surely it can't be that hard to find a sponsor for say 20 thousand pounds. -

I used to think it was a sport, but with some of its stupid rules and some teams not doing all they can to win, now I just see it as an entertainment business. I'm only talking about league speedway,Iindividual speedway I still class as a sport. -

I would have thought the idea of the play offs is to keep some clubs from going out of business. If a club is say currently in eighth but can still make the play off, then surely that helps to keep fans interested and turning up. If the the old system the team again in say eighth was out of the title race after a couple of months, would all the fans keep turning up? No they wouldn't. So they are there to help the lower placed teams in business in my eyes. -

Ipswich will be one of the 6 . Maybe not because we been good enough for some of the season, but because we have the points on the and will not have to try and play catch up with meetings, plus we have a few meetings coming up that we could easily win. We just haven't been affected with rain offs as bad as some other teams. -
So when was the meeting postponed? Still nothing on Facebook.
-
Oh right, the only thing from Ipswich on Facebook was about tonight's meeting, no mention of rain off. Nice to see they are keeping the fans informed. Glad I didn't bother travelling.
-
Only 3 and half hours to start time, and nothing on here. I take it I've got the right day?
-
I'm not as convinced as some about our current excellent form. Yes in the last 2 meetings we have won comfortably, but i don't think the opposition has been as good as it could have been. Now if we get a point out of tonight's meeting, then I will then agree with the others that we have suddenly hit top form.

Blackbird is a better option at 2 and rr at one, surely our other 6 riders can manage 7.4 points between them.

Apparently Ritchie isn't that great at Somerset, so a guest may just do better, but like Somerset at our track, we are normally just as poor at their track, so wouldn't fancy us for any point's whoever was riding. Thursday though is a different story, gino will be a big miss. Surely after one good showing last week our reserves will be our trump cards this week, and if not, then I think the saying is, you reap what you sow.

We have had more meetings than most of those teams as well haven't we?
-
Berwick won away on their travels today, beating a team we couldn't beat at home a couple of weeks ago. Maybe Berwick do have enough fire power to maybe get a point. Can we really afford to drop anymore points at home?
-
Don't think this match looks interesting enough to tempt me back this week.
-
A bit like a few of our riders then.

With kus at reserve they may just about have enough to keep the score reasonably close.
