  1. Andre PollenCarl Baldwin second time around David Osborne Doolan because he was meant to be number 1 Jan Andersen Jan Jaros Freddie Eriksen
  2. Well I agree with 2 of those, and one of those is a statistical, so have to. Apart from the bonus points award are all the others voted for by fans? And do you have to attend the end of season dinner to vote?
  3. How the hell did tungate get rider of the year, a rider that openly admitted that for part of the season he couldn't be bothered. What a joke, I take it only teenage girls voted.
  4. Spot on comment, but I doubt it will make much difference
  5. Let's hope we get a couple of early signings or departures announced, or we won't have much to talk about on here
  6. If I was morten I would want to race for Plymouth every week, where he would score like a number 1
  7. Ruml would also be a 5., but someone on another thread still says he has a year left at school
  8. I think both Adam and Richie will be on many teams lists for next season. Both have so much potential to improve. Adams starts have improved so much, and now I think he just needs to race the track and little better to give himself better opportunities to pass more often.
  9. So a no to that then really? I have a feeling next seasons team won't be much different from this year's, probably just the one rider that's different.
  10. So no jorgensen at Scunthorpe next year, could he do a job at Ipswich? Apart from this season's visit he normally goes pretty well round foxhall.
  11. So that's a definite sign he intends to stay prem, which is good as far as I'm concerned.
  12. I would guess at a pretty poor one, just like the old days. Until the likes of tungate and heeps are good enough for elite league heat leaders roles, I hope it doesn't join together. Out of interest, did Louis say anything on Thursday hinting on what league we may be in next year? Was he even interviewed? I was busy doing updates, so didn't get a chance to listen to any interviews.
  13. Yeah even i got 10.37 and I don't normally get anything right
  14. If morten is named in the team for the wrong reasons, then it tells me all i need to know about Ipswich speedway and those that run it
  15. Or forget king altogether, I was all for him, but didn't exactly look any better than Wells or tungate. If you take Worrall out, which I wouldn't do, but let's just say he doesn't come back, and we also don't use king what does all our riders from this year except Worrall leave?
  16. Awesome from Wells, better than any number one on display tonight, and to think he would be a third heat leader. I must say that was the most boring 16 lapper I've ever seen.
  17. Oh yeah, forgot about him, although I would take cook over stead at premier level. After yet another brilliant display from Wells tonight, he surely must be considered, especially as a third heat leader that rides our track as good as a number 1
  18. In my opinion there is only 1 out and out number 1 in the premier, and that's cook. King is a number one, but his average is a lot lower than cooks, and for king to get his current average, he must have been averaging lower than it to get it down from his starting average. I would have thought he could stop it going down further though. What we really need is a proper racer instead of one or both the gaters we have. I don't think next season's team will be any better than this seasons, but hopefully it will be more consistent.
  19. I don't think I'm being harsh at all, I don't want him as my teams number 1 next season, I do find him boring to watch. I haven't said he isn't any good or he won't get any better or that he hasn't improved every season. It's a thread about who we would like to see in next year's team, and as a number 1, I don't want to see him in my team, it's as simple as that.
  20. I know all about Wells too, seen him many times, but we wouldn't be using Wells as a number 1, which tungate would be, and number one needs to be able to pass and not shut off half way down the straight when behind.
  21. I don't think it helps that tungate is one of the most boring gating tarts I've ever seen race.
  22. Having read that, I thought I would do a bit of investigating to see how true or wrong you are. This has been mortens best season by far, and according to others, Wells not best season, so this should be interesting, the scores are this seasons only. At Berwick Wells scored 6 and 12 Morten scored 9 Somerset Wells 8 morten 4 and 4 Rye Wells 8 morten 14 and 9 Sheffield Wells 6 and 5 morten 7 Scunthorpe Wells 9 and 10 morten 7 and 4 Edinburgh Wells 12 and 7 morten 5 and 0 Glasgow Wells 7 and 7 morten 5 Plymouth Wells 7 morten 14 and 8 Redcar Wells 6 morten 6 Newcastle Wells 13 morten 7 Peterborough Wells 9 morten 6 and 9 And at Ipswich Wells scored 9 while at Workington morten scored 8 Now looking at those scores, it doesn't look like Wells goes missing as much as you would have us believe.
  23. Hasn't Wells only got an average of about 6.4? I was thinking using him as a third heat leader, not as one of the top 2. Maybe you are thinking of building a team with high averaged reserves?
  24. Looks like Parker is getting a few mentions
