Ritchings final average was 7.32, and to be honest there was only 4 or 5 riders with a better average, and I dare say a couple of those are going to be racing for their more local club and the best rider is probably going to somerset, what with their connection with Poole.
And we can probably guess why morten is in the team
Bruv has a good point, they are not new fans so it's not extra income, but less income from those who go anyway. When was the last time anyone saw any new fan sitting next to them, apart from bank holiday meetings. And the more the older die hards have passed on, those gaps in between the seats will become bigger.
Can you change your 3 pointer or are you stuck with them all season? And someone on here has said there are better than the one we have chosen, so why choose ours?
I'm hoping some of the weaker teams visit foxhall first, as I think it could take a few meetings for a few of them to get going. Because of this I fancy another season of crashing and burning. Don't know what louis saw in paco, but I hope he saw more than was displayed at the 16 lapper. I don't see him scoring much to start with. Another makinen?
So all in all I think mid table, but with nico in the team it keeps it enjoyable. It could be another season of doing better away than at home. Oh and I'm pleased with Sargent, just start the meeting 10 mins earlier to cover for all the jump starts.
Looking forward to seeing the team tomorrow. Do I have to pretend to like it or keep my opinions to myself in case it differs from other posters opinions? I'm just checking.
It probably has to stay the same just in case a premier match is shown on sky. Personally I think it's one of the worst things that's ever happened to speedway and one of the biggest reasons speedway will never be seen as anything but a joke sport/entertainment.
Im mistaken then. I never thought he ever averaged over 7 I always thought the problem with morten is that he didn't score 6 almost everywhere, but more like 10 3 8 2 11.
Maybe I'm blinkered cos his style of riding bores me to bits
The way Glasgow are putting their team together is they way to go. 4 decent heat leaders with plenty of room to improve their averages and a 4pointer that can also improve with 2 reserves. Let's be honest. Will Danny improve much? Yes slightly, nico? Again slightly. Kerr, who knows how his crash will affect him. Morten? Probably a drop in average.
