You can't compare covatti and castagna. Fair enough nico didn't do much at Sheffield but he was a good enough rider to reach the gp challenge final. Castagna is no where near that good. I'm I'm gonna stick to my guns and say I can't see him being anything other than one of the worst reserves in the league. Now maybe if he is given plenty of time to get to grips with the track he may hold his average. I do think we have plenty in the top 5 though to pick up away points which will see us take one of the play off places.
I would say our top 5 looks to be one of the best, but our reserves look to be one of the worst. Glasgow look clear favourites so far to me, but after that it's anybody's. So it's a case of can our top 5 out score the others to counter act what we lose out at reserve.
Nothing to do with me:-P it was rohan that said he wasn't riding for ipswich next season cos he wanted an elite team place. Has he got one yet? After beating all these top riders abroad I'm surprised one of the elite teams hasn't given him a team spot somewhere.
Are there any like for like?
I've just been looking on the elite league confirmed teams. And haven't a lot of the top riders averages dropped. Wolves number one only has an average of 6.8.
So Chris has said all the riders are looking forward to working with the new manager and us fans will be happy with it to. This really does make me believe it's an ex rider. Doncaster. Loram jolly Hawkins?
Isn't it strange. I've never heard a promotion say season ticket sales are down lol. Anyway, I'm surprised there are still people that bite to morrisdancer fans. Always tries to come across that they know something. Anyway. Looking forward to some close matches again this season with the panthers
I think somerset tried to hold the last one at Christmas in 2013, but I if I remember rightly they ended up having it in February and just called it the cracker instead.
