Talking of fan involvement, what happened to the extra entertainemt which was apparently the way forward to speedway? I haven't noticed anything else going on.
You don't have to be a track prep expert to see what the track was like, we have eyes and ears for that. So since you are the track expert why don't you tell us what it was like? And is there any particular reason why we very rarely give the outside a sprinkle once the meeting has started, so that riders like nico maybe could have made a couple more passes? Bob don't just take offence to anything someone might say, give all of us your expert opinion.
The track wasn't heavy, just a bit wet on bends 1 and 2, but slick it was from start to finish. After a few races there was no bite left in it and it basically was left to turn to powder. There was no reason why a drop of water couldn't have been put on the outside during the meeting. For some reason our track never seems to get any water once the meeting has started.
We all have to have a 3 pointer superblue and are there any others? Personally I think Ritchings will get better and if you see the amount of effort he is putting in its brilliant. And he isn't off the pace either. A few good decisions on the first turns will see him score more points.
Lewis and James were a lot better tonight. Not sure about the track yet. When you run an entertainment and you have one of the top entertainer then I think he needs a better stage than what's currently on offer. Toft and grondal were very poor for the panthers, but definitely have a trump card with perry.
I think we need sarj and kerr to score some decent points. Not sure how Porsing will take to our track and toft can be hit and miss. I know one thing, we can't afford as many last places.
Mmmmm. I think grondal and Perry have the beating of our 2. A lot could come down to how the track rides. If some grip then nico should score more than 10, so should Danny.
You would like to think there is a bit of cash left to cater for this, plus they had last Saturdays money from fans with no riders wages to pay. And do the riders get paid after a meeting, weekly, monthly or when the club has enough money to do so? I've seen guests paid out after a meeting, all cash no wage slips.
Wouldn't we have to thrash Sheffield and Peterborough home and away? Can't see that happening in all honesty
Is that all? How can a club survive on such little support.
