  1. Antique fayres are far bigger than speedway. Although the average age range is probably about the same
  2. I mostly feel sorry for the fans that now don't have a club and the ones that have put money in in the past and present ones that have bought season tickets. Yes it's a shame on the riders also, but they will probably end up with another team to race for but the fans may never see another speedway club.
  3. Oh well. British touring cars at brands for me then.
  4. Love going to the showground, when right it's an awsome track for men with the biggest plumbs. Agree with hong kong, don't see the panthers losing at home all season, which includes this one. We may be a bit sharper in the first few races but panthers will pull it back and some. Perry is probably one of the best 3 pointers and emil should score plenty. Luckily we have Danny and nico to to keep us entertained and the racing will be tough and close. Panthers to win by 12
  5. I love that cafe. You can even get a pot noodle in there, or could on my last visit anyway. Where are all the scorpions supporters on here tonight? There was quite a few on Thursday.
  6. Facilities are not poor at the EWR, but for me if the seating was higher so looking down on track it would be even more awsome.
  7. It's a great race track at scunthorpe isn't it bash. Just imagine how good it would look if there were higher grand stands there. Brilliant track though.
  8. I did say he would come into his own on certain tracks and he was winning heat 2 before engine failure. Let's hope we can get him going at foxhall. We only lost Thursday due to lack of dirt and a few problems with sarj
  9. If morten was there would have been an easy win. Get our track with some dirt on it and we will be okay
  10. Thanks Sue. I would have been there myself..but after Thursday I instantly decided to stay at home instead.
  11. I did mention that paco could come into his own on some away tracks, let's hope tonight is one of those tracks. He has scored here before so that's going to help him. Can ipswich pull off a shock win this afternoon? Hope to be following this on updates.
  12. Reading the updates it sounds like Danny was a bit slow tonight. Having engine issues?
  13. How many chances do you give someone to score zero? 3 or 4? You shouldn't give it too many as those meetings could be used getting another rider settled in. I would give it another 3 meetings as basically we already out of this competition. Let's get ready for the league
  14. Depends how many break downs and tapes exclusions klindt has. He slowed last night and let someone past
  15. Surely you set a track up for your own strengths, not to stop someone else's.
  16. It was so bad I'm even going to go and watch Peterborough on the bank holiday Monday
  17. There is a difference between panicking and clearly seeing someone isn't up to this level yet.
  18. So with rr for morten for a few weeks and a very poor reserve I would imagine that's us already out of this competition. You can't afford rr with a weak reserve. What's brandfords average?
  19. I thought paco was going to struggle with a grippy track, but maybe it's the slick he will struggle with or maybe both. I did notice that once he makes his start he completely shuts off and loses 5 metres straigt away. Having said that he done so much better than I thought he would. I knew he would get a full house of zeros but thought he would be half a lap behind not a quarter. Gutted for morten, I think he will be brilliant at number 4.
  20. fortress foxhall didn't even make one meeting. Anyway on to Sunday. With wilko at reserve scunthorpe should have to much scoring power. Home win
  21. So what was the new entertainment? Very very very very slick track. Well done scunthorpe. I won't give my opinions on all the riders, but I will pick out morten and Daryl for doing good.
