Rye House V Peterborough Pl Saturday 16th April

Well they certainly won't be cancelling their event for the speedway, that's for sure -
Some interesting reading there, thank you. I have a couple of questions for ipswich fans or any fan really about their team. But let me focus on ipswich. Do we currently have a team that could win the league? And does it matter if we don't? Do we have a team that could reach the play offs? And does it matter if we don't? If we don't win anything or even reach the play offs, will you still turn up next year and let the hope start all again.? That's one thing about speedway for me, whatever happens I will always go back and carry on watching. If I had more money and more time I probably would go and watch rye house and probably Peterborough as well if money wasn't an option. I just love my speedway.Yes I know that makes me a bit of a strange one lol. I tried a bit of speedway and grasstrack when I was younger and I sound found out my plumbs were not big enough to make it. Also done a bit of mini racing and go kart racing, and twice done the isle of mann tt.

Yeah I'm into formula 1 and touring cars. Anything with an engine really.Oh and darts. I shall also be watching some of the snooker over the next couple of weeks, and I don't mind a bit of female tennis either.

Interactive fan involvement? What ever did happen to that Thanks macca. A few things to talk about, but please not football.

Just imagine how good the panthers team could be if one or 2 changes made. -

Maybe he didn't want to do it? If he is that good you would think someone would go for him. As for Halsey no thanks -

I have heard they are using a new shale. If that's true or not I don't know. If they are it will take a few weeks to bed in -

Talking of fan involvement, what happened to the extra entertainemt which was apparently the way forward to speedway? I haven't noticed anything else going on. -

That's exactly my thinking. Just cos I'm not the actual track man doesn't mean I don't know how the tracks looking and is going to race. -

You don't have to be a track prep expert to see what the track was like, we have eyes and ears for that. So since you are the track expert why don't you tell us what it was like? And is there any particular reason why we very rarely give the outside a sprinkle once the meeting has started, so that riders like nico maybe could have made a couple more passes? Bob don't just take offence to anything someone might say, give all of us your expert opinion. -

The track wasn't heavy, just a bit wet on bends 1 and 2, but slick it was from start to finish. After a few races there was no bite left in it and it basically was left to turn to powder. There was no reason why a drop of water couldn't have been put on the outside during the meeting. For some reason our track never seems to get any water once the meeting has started. -

We all have to have a 3 pointer superblue and are there any others? Personally I think Ritchings will get better and if you see the amount of effort he is putting in its brilliant. And he isn't off the pace either. A few good decisions on the first turns will see him score more points. -

You are quiet today -
Some ipswich fans tried to warn you about tungate. Unless the track conditions are perfect for him, he is as much use as a chocolate tea pot

Lewis and James were a lot better tonight. Not sure about the track yet. When you run an entertainment and you have one of the top entertainer then I think he needs a better stage than what's currently on offer. Toft and grondal were very poor for the panthers, but definitely have a trump card with perry.
