  1. What about a women with a flag?? Don't want to be sexist Most sports don't have as much problems
  2. You just proving my point why it's unfair, some get away with it and some don't. A transponder is a device the sends a signal to a box, you can get them for as little as just over 20 quid. If you anticipate., then it doesn't matter if you can see magnets or not. Riders start behind tapes..run to bikes and have le mans style starts
  3. Mmmmm🤔 I think I shall stick to my transponder idea
  4. You do realise with different rider set up the bikes are different lengths? Only matters about the bar obviously
  5. Nobody is forced to race, but I would like to see them get paid more. I've also done types of racing that could end in serious injury or death and didn't think about it and for no money at all, it's just the thrill and buzz that racing gives.
  6. No one ever anticipates the quick release, only ever the the 2 or 3 second release
  7. Some riders earn more a night than I earn a month..and good luck to them.
  8. Whatever they get paid isn't enough for putting your future health and life on the line everytime they take to the track
  9. Each track has 14 and a box ..simple Or just keep speedway in the dark ages...just as simple
  10. What I said and mean is..someone will anticipate perfectly and will still be pulled back. So just use a bit of technology to help, it's not that difficult.
  11. If you allow anticipating, it's still open not ideal, ref will let some go that he thought were anticipated but were actually jumped and some pull back some for a jump that were not. Transponders are the best solution in my mind. Or a different way of starting races. The worst ones are when a rider clearly mucks his start up and only hinders himself, but the ref stops it and gives him another go, does that happen in any other motor sport?? Not that I've seen.
  12. Trouble with allowing movement as long as don't touch tapes is..there is only one ref. He can't watch all 4 at same time. And they probably won't pick up the slightest of touches. So after a race a replay shows a rider did touch tapes..what then??? At least with a light going off its pretty obvious someone moved. Cos the light will stil be on and one of the riders isn't on the line anymore. Another problem with speedway and maybe one of its biggest, is most of the supporters live in the past and don't like change. And it's it's time for a change people. If ya gonna stick to tapes, it should be any movement and you are out. No warning or anything. Once it hits the pocket the riders will soon learn to sit still.
  13. Okay okay I meant as it is now. Red lights on off.
  14. Most other motor sports go off a green light.and you very rarely get jump starts compared to speedway, so why not use a light? Or does speedway have to be different just for the sake of it?
  15. If matt had something to do with it , why not drop him in it like he did Godfrey??
  16. Who??? it wasn't may fault yesterday, someone asked me what I thought about him.
  17. You need to let it go and move on😂 You are like a bone without a dog
  18. only when 2 out, otherwise it's been rr He is another rider that should clearly start next season on a ban.
  19. Old Kermitt hears as much about Glasgow as he hears about the other teams he hears about with different user names.
  20. Is that to not give up if he is last? Or maybe make a pass?
  21. You really need to ask what I think of Sedgy? The bloke is a total waste of space, I stopped going to speedway at foxhall for a couple of month's, him being one of the reasons. That's how much I think of him. So the further away he is from ipswich the better. The whole thing is a total farce, just like most things speedway related. Does that help?
