  1. Simon Lambert suffered cuts and bruises last night and won't be fit for tonight's match. Ben Morley rides in his place. http://ryehouserocke....php?extend.634
  2. From the ITV4 schedule; Motorbike Show (ITV Series 4), Episode 6 Wednesday 17th July on ITV4 from 9:00pm to 10:00pm In the last programme, Henry Cole came off his bike during motocross and broke his shoulder so he teams up with a one-legged rider to enter the classic bike Banbury Run. Henry decides to send Pete The Restorer to take his place learning Speedway, and at last the restored Triumph Bonneville is due to be unveiled - provided the engine gets fixed.
  3. In a similar vein to the current team not being the Sittingbourne Raiders? I realise that the recent history of the co-promoter, team manager and four riders is purely coincidental.
  4. Robert Lambert signing for the Young Stars adds some spice to this one.
  5. Another one that's sneaked in unannounced is that a match result can now be declared after 10 heats instead of 12.
  6. Press & Practice is on Tuesday 26th March @ 11. http://ryehouserockets.co/news.php?extend.504
  7. I must have imagined his match winning 15+1 from 6 at Rye House then...
  8. his "race jacket" is actually an integral part of his kevlars and the colour changed from an almost fluorescent yellow to the current greeny yellow colour fairly early in the season.
  9. Owlerton Fan Plan http://www.thestar.c...-plan-1-5183048
  10. The official line from last week's SS track review; "The problem was the Border Agency moved from their headquarters to Manila in the Philippines", he [Len] said. "So you had people there making decisions on people's livelihoods and going strictly by the book. Previously, when it was in Australia, riders could sit across the table from an official and sort things out but you can't do that, now things get rejected and you don't even know your application has been rejected." Won't hold my breath and wouldn't be too surprised if R/R made an appearance as early as press & practice day.
  11. You don't read the forum then? Because the commercial rights holder, Gospeed, says so.
  12. Didn't notice that. Restated on the email, restaged on the BSPA site version.
  13. Email from Rye House; Rye House versus Sheffield - OFF Following torrential rain today which has left the Hoddesdon circuit under water, and with further showers forecast tomorrow afternoon, the early decision has been taken to call off tomorrow's meetIng at Rye House. The match will not be restaged. Instead the Rockets will qualify directly for the Challenge Trophy Final and will wait to see on Sunday who they will meet, and therefore also whether their home leg is next Saturday or Sunday.
  14. If they're as good as their 27 points a couple of weeks ago for Redcar I can only urge everyone to get behind the Diamonds...
  15. Robert confirmed in his BikerFM interview tonight that the current thinking is to stay in Germany next year, with possible league racing in Denmark, and go straight into the Premier League. His team of choice at the moment is Rye House, who he said have been very helpful to him. He came across as very level headed and mature in his first radio interview,
  16. Only if it rains on Wednesday...
  17. Lots of name checks for Grega Hancocka and now pointing at watches, so maybe the Champ is late arriving?
  18. After a practice session today, Jason Garrity has declared himself fit enough to ride in this match.
  19. Admit you'd pulled a flanker all season and suck it up.
  20. Hawkins hasn't retired - he rode for the Birmingham scratch team at Leicester last night.
