Richard Hollingsworth quoted in today's SStar; "Discussions are still taking place. We had an agreement with a pair of riders 6 weeks ago but sadly things changed last week and now we are having to explore our options." ... "We are in discussion with a couple and hopefully we can sort out our line-up for our opening fixture by the weekend."

More complicated than that, but irrelevant in this case as shared events take precedence over all leagues.

BSPA shared events always take priority over league competitions.

...beaten 3-1 & 2-0 by fellow EL reserves Simon Lambert and Ben Morley on his home track...

Sam Simota will be the temporary replacement for Alex Davies.

That could actually make an improvement, it's really that bad.

No, Boxall.

With 2 bikes that look as though they may make it to the end of the season as well.

Rob Godfrey has been told that that visas are issued 10 days after applications are submitted and that Ryan Douglas is 2 days behind Jason Doyle, whose 10 days are up next Friday. Interesting to see Doyle listed for the ERC when it's widely assumed that Tier 5 visas only allow riding for the sponsoring club.

Would Mr. Rising please pick up the white courtesy phone in reception... -

Fim Bans Participation In European Championships

They won't have the same battle because the decision will have been made in advance of the riders planning their season, rather than the retrospective decision which caused the current problem. -
The 4th listing in "Homes of British Speedway" is a demonstration race by Mads Korneliussen and Tony Atkin at the Wales National Ice Rink in 2004, presumably a tryout for a possible Thomas/Drury promotion. They also have Cardiff Arms Park listed in the grass speedways appendix for 1928. HoBS list an Ely Grass Speedway in 1948.

It's Tier 5 and it looks as though that is what Kozza has had refused.

Why would there be? It's Speedway's tried and tested "Wait and see... Whoops! Too late" policy. -
...in the MDL with a team of trainees to be led by Kings' reserve Dan Blake. More details here. 9 teams in the league with no mention, as yet, whether MK Knights will still be operating out of Rye House.
