  1. "They" haven't, I converted it from his PL average.
  2. Not quite Micky Mouse, but you've got to start somewhere...
  3. Luke Bowen will have a 6.60 average for the Raiders.
  4. The BSPA statement says "clubs will include one rider from each category".
  5. I understand Luke was definitely going to retire at the end of this season but had second thoughts after his testimonial.
  6. Rye House have confirmed today that they'll be back to running on Bank Holiday Mondays and, subject to league approval, the Raiders will be back in the NL. Looks like Roger Cearns may be promoting on his own and looking for a new team manager.
  7. Anybody else heard the one about Jon Cook & EL for 2016?
  8. Probably more to do with the persuasive skills of former Kings' commercial manager 'Nikko' Day who is now in a similar position with SITRA.
  9. He was dropped by Red Bull KTM Ajo at the end of the 2013 & signed for Mahindra Racing, who dropped him after 10 races because of poor results. The speculation is based on the fact that he hasn't been as successful in the GPs as expected so may consider a switch back to speedway.
  10. He's only resigned as FT coordinator, not from the youth setup.
  11. This could well be Guy Garvey's Finest Hour...
  12. To quote the website; "SITRA will be working with Sittingbourne Speedway Ltd over the winter of 2014 into spring 2015 to enhance the facilities at the venue and, in conjunction with the ACU, are bringing the track up to FIM standards for not only Solos but also 500cc sidecars and 1000cc Right Hand sidecars making SITRA a club that can support all categories of motorcycle sports." So I would say no.
  13. It's not a joke, it's a fact. Well worth repeating.
  14. The MDL, NJL & training schools as always.
  15. Rye House Raiders - I'd say better than 50/50, despite you reservations. Redcar Cubs - Brian Havelock's making the right noises.
  16. Coventry win & we spend the winter slagging off Poole, win - win!
  17. Ward is such a major figure in the GPs that there was no mention of him in the PRs for the Aussie GP, Monster's sponsorship renewal or the wild card announcement.
  18. Here's the PR. Rye House No.1 Edward Kennett was named as the clubs rider of the year in the centre green awards presentation that followed the Silver Ski Rockets victory over Scunthorpe. His Mr Rocket accolade was unsurprising, given his big hitting and consistency throughout the teams difficult campaign. Kennetts paid points total for the year now stands at 398, with the teams remaining fixture at Peterborough today (Sunday) still to be added in. Kennett also received the Sampford Trophy from team manager John Sampford. The trophy is awarded annually in memory of Sampfords parents to the rider judged the most exciting of the year. The Rye House captain looked back on the season afterwards when taking the mike to address the crowd. First of all, I think back to the beginning of March when we went to Peterborough and got a win, and I was like, Wow, weve got a team, but it came apart from there. But tonight proved (what we can do) we were all on form, and its just a shame it hasnt happened all year. It has been a tough year - Im not going to lie and I feel for Len (Silver), and I feel for you guys, because each week youve come to see us get beaten at home and away. But we all give 110%, and its just that sometimes it doesnt work out. I want to say thank you to you guys that have been here every week - without your support, we wouldnt be here and to Len for preparing a smooth track, and everyone else behind the scenes. I would love to come back to Rye House next year if Len has me back. I hope to see you all again in 2015.
  19. It'll be good to see Kasper Lykke back, but tough for him riding at 2. Scorpions using R/R for David Howe who's away World long tracking.
  20. I doubt that we'll ever see it again. The NLRC has already been confirmed as the final meeting, with no meeting the week before.
  21. I don't think he's interested in any more involvement than running the training school and helping out a few riders.
