  1. He doesn't have that option. After March 1st Kus can apply to the SCB for arbitration or Newcastle could do that before then with a non-refundable £300 protest fee.
  2. I think Islander15's already won that one (with one small change)...
  3. I see 3 - the 2 Sheffield matches & the BYC round. Maybe they're adding 1 every few hours. As HH says, the BSPA site is the place to go but there are errors.
  4. I would expect the normal reserve rule to apply. The protected heats are there to benefit the no.7, not to penalise the team.
  5. The plan was to demolish the temp stand and replace it with new changing rooms with seating over the top.
  6. Otherwise known as "papering over the cracks"...
  7. There are no extra restrictions on Polish riders in the EL other than those imposed by their Polish clubs.
  8. Looks like they've solved the final rider problem... https://twitter.com/RedcarBears/status/688053502216663041
  9. They already have another licensed promoter among their directors.
  10. 6.3.1 A Promotion shall be permitted three (3) months to negotiate a transfer, except that if a request is made out of season, the Promotion shall have until 1 st March to effect a transfer, provided the Promoter has a minimum of three (3) months. 6.3.2 Thereafter the Rider may apply to the SCB for settlement by arbitration. 6.3.3 The SCB shall decide if it is in the best interests of the sport that the Rider be transferred and consider so far as is possible, the wishes of the Rider and the transfer fee.
  11. I would have thought Vladimir Putin had more pressing matters to deal with.
  12. Brodie Waters and Jordan Stewart seem to be the 2 most likely candidates of the 'unknown' visa eligible Aussies. They qualified by finishing 2nd & 3rd in the Victorian Championship between Ty Proctor and Justin Sedgmen in the final. They made the final by equalling Proctor's 12 points behind Sedgmen's maximum. They're currently the 'best of the rest' after 3 rounds of the national championship on 18 & 17 points respectively, forming a middle group with Proctor(19) a long way behind the other 'names', Brady Kurtz leading on 43 & Sedgmen 8th on 28, with 12th placed Josh Pickering on 11 . Kozza Smith's average is only .02 lower than Klindt's but I'd be wary of his injury record.
  13. It's intended to be Matej Kus but... George English says in Speedway Star: "After respecting the confidentiality of the rider and his club for many weeks now, we may as well go public and say we hope Matej will become the 7th and final member of our line-up for the new season." "We don't agree with Redcar's valuation and they don't think our offer is enough. Redcar insist on selling Matej and say they won't entertain a loan deal, so that is the way things stand on Monday January 4".
  14. As macca says, and would have been 0.64 over anyway.
  15. He'd read my precis of the article which, I modestly submit, was a fair and accurate depiction of the salient facts. I'm shocked that anyone was shocked by SCB being intententionally provocative. Gordon Pairman's view, though welcome, adds hardly anything to the discussion in my view.
  16. It was because of the facts that the original post was made.
  17. He was one of the "signings" I was disappointed with so not greatly bothered as long as a reasonably adequate replacement is found.
