  1. The 8 day rule is still in force but only applies to guest appearances and is irrelevant in this match anyway. the original 3 point #7 moves up into the team when their average improves. He isn't, the original #7 is Tom Perry whose 5+ average has moved him up into the team & his injury allows for the R/R.
  2. #7s only had to be eligible to ride in the NL.
  3. Strange that issue 14 never made it into the public domain and we're now on issue 15 published today.
  4. "No motorcycle may be ridden on the infield" is the phrase used.
  5. EDRs are always EDRs wherever they line up in the team but #6 & #7, in terms of team line up, are the two lowest riders by MA with the proviso that only an EDR can be at #7.
  6. It doesn't, it only applies to the PL but asks more questions than it answers there because the #7 isn't necessarily the original 3pt #7.
  7. From the SRs for the meeting, published today; Qualification: the winner shall be the British Champion with the winner also being nominated as the Wild Card for the British Speedway Grand Prix (NB. if the winner is already an SGP rider then the highest placed non GP rider will take the place).
  8. It can't be all heats because heat 15 is the only one that has "qualified" riders.
  9. 18.8 TEAM LINE-UPS a. The Top rider (by MA) must ride at #1. b. The 2nd to 5th riders (by MA) can ride in any position #2-#5. c. The 6th and 7th riders (by MA) must ride at #6 or #7.
  10. Rye House are currently running 3 150cc box class races for a regular group of riders before the main meeting starts.
  11. It is, and in fact, that's all it says in the regs with no mention of not leaving the track. That was how it was explained though at the start of the season. 15.2.5 Riders must at the expiry of this time allowance, be on the track, under power, proceeding without stopping towards the Starting Gate.
  12. Elsewhere, riders are getting excluded for doing just that.
  13. 3 interpretations. Before the 1st heat at Rye House one of the Redcar riders did it twice with no penalty. Later on a Redcar rider was warned off by the CotC via the start marshal.
  14. It's 9 days for 20 and over, 12 days for 16-19 and 23 days for 15 and under. They can all be increased if decided by the MO.
  15. It'd be a start if they did some basic proofreading so that the regs read the same way they were voted on at the AGM.
  16. Nor do I, just pointing out that Hume had more trouble staying on in his early matches than Locke does. I think Leek shows the value of using riders with speedway experience and there are some good young lads coming through the youth championships. I think that's the way to go for long term success.
  17. The minimum suspension time is 9 days but NBJ is down on the injured rider list for 28 days, Friday 3rd being the earliest return date, but with a note to check with the SCB office, which iisn't required in every case.
