  1. No, that's the number of riders registered with the SCB.
  2. Around 250 senior professional riders currently registered. Around 120 riders have ridden in PL & CL, enough for 17 full teams.
  3. Referee's fines go to the SRBF. SCB fines go to them.
  4. Suspend Holder for Rathbone's flouting of the rules? The MC correctly refused to sanction the request but Rathbone went ahead anyway.
  5. You're 2/3rds right, but for once, the BSPA/SCB have done the right thing. How could they have stopped it in the first place, other than using Spanish police tactics at Stansted Airport?
  6. The Polish play offs take precedence on the ISL calendar as the Pairs is a rescheduled meeting.
  7. Many years ago I went to a temporary Exeter Speedway based exhibition that was being held over (I think) an August Bank Holiday. ISTR it was at an existing transport(?) collection and made a suitable interval between Poole in the morning and Exeter in the PM.
  8. Like this you mean? http://ryehouserockets.co/news.php?extend.1492
  9. 13.3 No rider shall have a direct or indirect interest in the promotion of any speedway without the express permission of the SCB, which is given or withheld at its sole discretion.
  10. Warsaw 274.1m, Horsens 272m, Cardiff 272m, Malilla 305m, Gorzow 329m, Teterow 314m, Stockholm 272m, Torun 325m, Melbourne 346m
  11. It always used to be that way, but certainly as early as 2009 the "ready to race" rule was in place.
  12. Some confusion on the ISL Calendar; Mon 9 * Promotion / Relegation Final Leg 1 SGBP League ** Ipswich Reserved TBC Promotion / Relegation Play Off *** Sheffield Reserved TBC Promotion / Relegation Play Off
  13. There are, but obviously with a lower overall standard. This was done in mid-August so not using the latest averages. https://www.dropbox.com/s/f7j1s6eh9153as2/Speedway.pdf?dl=0
  14. That's a short memory. It changed last year! 15.2.5 Riders must at the expiry of this time allowance, be on the track, under power, proceeding without stopping towards the Starting Gate. (in bold as a new regulation) Previously; 15.3.4 Riders must be “ready to race” or “under the control of the Start Marshal” in the correct Gate position within the permitted Time Allowance.
  15. If he's suffering from teenage moods at his age he should seek professional medical advice.
  16. ...and the nomination of 3 pairs appears to be that rare occurrence by the rule makers of thinking ahead and avoiding delays between heats.
  17. The BSPA have a 25% input into the decisions of the ISLB, so not totally innocent.
  18. No restriction on guesting for different teams at different tracks. No reason why Ipswich couldn't have booked Sarjeant if they'd wanted to.
  19. Because rider averages are calculated over 4 rides which effectively reduces a 15 heat match to the equivalent of 14 heats and thus 42 points/team for a draw.
