  1. The article suggests they may be forced to start off in the NDL. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/speedway/coventry-bees-leicester-lions-brandon-13901969
  2. It's a starting offence like tapes and all the others and the ref should mark them all up the same.
  3. Speedway Star I believe, about a month ago. I definitely read it somewhere after a mention on here.
  4. Quite legal if he can't make the start time of the first match because he's washing his hair.
  5. On the website, http://somersetrebels.co/news.php?extend.2107 “Then, for one reason or another, you get riders who either do not want to attend, want to be paid to attend, or cannot attend due having to ride in to meaningless fixtures which are still being run at this late in the season!”
  6. For the purposes of the 8 day rule a double header is one meeting.
  7. Where's the loophole in a rider being available and having an average?
  8. Same rules for Cup, League and playoffs. ((PL > CL) > NDL) < NDLRC
  9. In Bowen's case, riding for the home team isn't subject to the 8 day rule in the NDL.
  10. In 2014 Rye House were allowed to use R/R for their first 5 matches until Jason Bunyan returned from the NZ GP.
  11. The two occurrences are subject to different rules. Redcar are following the rules, Peterborough didn't.

  14. Maybe they've just found out about the existence of Leicester Speedway (2017) Limited, with Mr. & Mrs. Chapman the directors
  15. Only disciplinary fines by the ref. Late arrival & non-appearance fines by the ref and SCB court fines go to the SCB.
  16. ...after the abandonment of a MEETING. There is no rule relating to the continuation, or otherwise, after a MATCH is called off.
  17. They already have. That should have happened this year because it came in in 2015. Instead, they lurched violently in the other direction.
  18. Nor was there any need to. Just put the towels on the sunbeds and sort the details out when the time comes. Otherwise, you just have to admire the way Lambert has got his rubber sick note tuned to perfection, bouncing at all the right times and places. Batchelor et al must be so proud.
  19. It wasn't difficult to predict with the Polish fixtures on the original ISL calendar in February with nothing for Newcastle in September/October.
  20. You missed it? From the BSPA statement on August 6th; "If the rider had gone to Poland and raced without the permission of his club he would have been banned for withholding his services for 28 days - this is not the case with Jack Holder as his club have given him their blessing and we have evidence of the true reason."
