But if he is not being paid then it is the club messing the rider about.

Jordan Palin announced his retirement from the sport. It was front page news in the SS this week.

That is the nature of the 38 point limit, bringing in the youth lower down & losing a mid to top end rider.

He is not going to make a push for more youth racing then not put a team in given the racing opportunities at the EWR.

Similarly a few years back with S Nicholls when he tried to get a Championship place but was told his Premiership average was too high so could not race. He went to seek legal advice & the rest is history.

When Crump was coming back for Ipswich in 2019, he was coming back from a time away with an 8.40 average. He then missed another full year, as did everyone else, but got a reduction dropping him to an 8, converted to 12 as Plymouth wanted him in the Championship. I am sure with Poole's connections, Josh would get a reduction. BTW, keep your hands off Zaine & Declan.

Just been catching up on other threads & on Poole dated 20 Nov they are mentioning Zaine K on a 4.27 & his brother Declan on a 4. I know Declan has had the better results last year & just recently but I found out previously he was riding for fun & has a good job. I know I mentioned having both in my team for 2024 & I wonder if things have changed. I wish I had not opened my mouth now, before.

Probably has but too big a risk. He can fall over, slip on ice or snow & it would be a worry for him & his family but speedway is too dangerous for an incidental head knock.

It is a shame injury has curtailed his career as other teams in the Premiership, GB Youth & Poland saw his potential at such a young age but he is now in a well paid job.

I thought he might be the other one at 2nd string/ reserve but this lower points limit is hurting a few teams & riders. Trying to bring through the youth with the loss of the NDL could mean some riders out of their depth & some riders out of a job.

It was because Workington AND Lakeside(main/chosen race night) changed some of their race nights from Saturday to Friday & other teams, not just Friday night racing teams but their opponents as well, but because Godfrey's name was in the memo for teams to change back to their original race night, he gets all the blame.(remember it is or was a BSPA vote + promoters that vetoed the change) As usual. It used to be Buster, as head honcho, but now Rob. Many Thanks. See as above but you have a "bee in your bonnet" & will not change similar to others. You just have tunnel vision & do not see the bigger picture.

I didn't need to be "Einstein" no2 to work out Simon was going to be back going by the story of his input with Rob in to signing our new manager. I am surprised he is named 1st & not the reserves. In the form of his life last year & used very effectively when he signed late on for Kings Lynn. A very good captain & motivator.

I looked at something similar a few years ago when we were looking at putting seating in on the home straight before buying the "very second hand" temporary structure.

Lambert, as our captain had been in conversations with Rob about appointing our new manager.

They only have the one stand & it is predominantly glass fronted plus the terracing as they only view from bend 4 & the home straight. That should be fun!

What top riders have been skimmed off? As far as I know only Douglas as Pickering has had a change of heart & could race Championship, Cook has been practising again & Masters, Nicholls, Harris are fixed up. The other top riders we will find out in the near future. Then you will get juniors getting 5 point averages & moving in to the main body on false averages.
