  1. Scunthorpe had a large crowd boosted by Redcar's travelling army & several neutral supporters, pricing structure probably right this year with U16's free with paying adult. Car park was "choca". Bobby Beaton in attendance, also.
  2. Very quiet on here from the Poole fans on a home meeting BUT, then again, they are frequenting every body else's threads.
  3. Thought you said last year that you would not give the Scunthorpe promotion any more of your money!
  4. But they still had squads of 10/11/12 riders of which they did not pick from. From memory, I think C Holder was one of the riders used in which he was a better rider than the squad members available so what is the use of a squad, covid or not? Sometimes you have to rider with a weaker team!
  5. Also, my theory is based on last recent meetings of which TJ rode in the Premiership(22) & Rory in Championship(21)
  6. From what I have seen somewhere, a rolling average only includes meetings in 2021 & 2022. As TJ has a converted average from 2022 & looking at the British Speedway site & Berwick's Rider Statistics, it has TJ 0 0 0 0 across the board. To me, as a guess, he will have to ride in 8 Qualifying(League) meetings before he gets a new average. His 10 meeting rolling average is from the Premiership in 2022 & has a 20 meeting rolling average in the Championship from 2021 which I do not think would count. Gambo is the one in the know who will put you right.
  7. Hit & miss & changing forecasts. If the rain hits --- Good Call, if it misses --- we could have raced, why bother with British Speedway. All say AAAAAAAHHHHHH & breathe.
  8. Poland did use guests a couple of years ago in the Ekstraliga but taken from Liga 1.
  9. There are only 7 teams in the league so only 6 away tracks to visit so taking away M.G. there is only 5 more suited to yourselves.
  10. All new rules are highlighted every year.
  11. There is a couple of French men doing well with their season underway. Possible Danes, Swedes or Aussies on a 4 or U24 Poles willing to do a short term deal for racing experience.
  12. It has happened in previous years in that he is not new to the team having ridden in 2022, guests may be applicable but who knows with the rule changes & interpretations, especially with a good solicitor.
  13. We are talking about the weather at the end of March, beginning of April. Give it time with a bit more sun & wind about with favourable forecasts & there will not be the need to postpone meetings early.
  14. It is not about now but the last 24/48/72 hours has done to the track(softened up too much) & getting the heavy vehicles on to prepare it rather than it is too soft & they rip it up like a ploughed field.
  15. They are wrong, also, as British Speedway site(averages & declarations) have Lambo at 5.20 & Joe at 3.27
  16. Scunthorpe & Glasgow are Friday tracks so I would presume Theo will be with Ace. Confirmed signings thread is wrong as J Allen does not get discount. He is 6.30
  17. I thought that the weather forecast might defeat us, as I posted above, but as Rob has posted, now on Sunday. The sun should be out but could be chilly. Now that it is out in the SS, I can now say that a few of us supporters, on here & not, have known about the situation with Zaine since Sunday/Monday but felt it was right for the club to announce something. Finding another rider, even at this late stage is difficult, but we did not want to alarm supporters or let others know who we are chasing as a temporary replacement. Good luck Zaine on your recovery programme & hoping to still see you in the Scorpion colours.
  18. I have, also, seen a photo & the boards look higher than before. I am sure that I have seen that Workington have bought our air fence as it has a couple of more years left of its use ( I think 5 years is the period of use before being tested for further use). I hope the weather forecast changes for the end of next week as it has rain non stop from Thursday night through all day Friday, P & P. (Metcheck, there are others available).
  19. Start on time & no interval! Stadium owners must have missed the chance to make a bit of money! Normally a 9.45 finish!
  20. You could be right as I have just checked the new regulations & in 010.2.3 d it says that any rising star from the previous season who does not meet the rising star criteria will receive a 25% discount for the following season. It does not mention Team Building only so the last bit is probably the area which counts which is not ambiguous/interpretable.
  21. Thursday night is British race night unless of Polish rain offs/cancellations so I presume too early for that BUT, you never know if Poland pulling their trump card early to test the water/resilience of the British ruling.
  22. I would still say that Brennan's 4.40 average(not a Rising Star so -25%British reduction) is for "Team Building" purposes only so his true average puts him in the 1-5.Lidsey will be at no6.
