I would have thought, using common English, that rumours, gossip would be in teams section & CONFIRMED in this topic.

A full page of rumour's & I thought this topic was about CONFIRMED SIGNINGS!

I think that is what the limit was hoping to be from the monthly meetings at Rugby but now some teams have been getting their teams sorted, a few promoters have got together & fought to reduce the limit. (see story in this weeks SS)

The standard is set by the machinery & tuning & upkeep of the bikes used by riders in Poland.

Riders are supposed to be present 1-2 hours pre meeting but what if Howarth had got the call around 5pm?

I think Workington were doing a good job, albeit, with 5 riders until injuries played it's part. They did make the 1 change, though, at reserve.

I heard that from a friend not long ago. I found it hard to understand as Heeps did better than Boughen in Oxfords last meeting here. Is it a Rob payment issue as MPT is our no1 on best money. What is he paying Boughen, reserve/2nd string rates?

It was last year that it was said that they wanted a bigger gulf in standard between the Prem & Champ. An arguement is that riders race 4 times over 14 heats which is 42 points & that is NEVER going to happen.

Where have you been these last 20 years? It is 15 heats not 13!

So, expected a slick track & dust after heat 4-6 as the track will not have been watered these last few days to get moisture in. Unlike last week when they had rain before then decided to grade/rip up the track prior to the meeting, making it unsafe to ride.

The Ipswich team would have been put forward to the SCB 3 days ago. Then Emil does well in his first few rides & Ipswich cancel the guest option expecting Emil to be in England. He then suffers after the Polish meeting & Ipswich have to re-book a guest. GET REAL GUYS!

How did Starke get a point for pushing over the line in heat 4? His bake wasn't even going as he passed us!

And a "local" referee helps Glasgow to a win against Scunthorpe a few weeks ago.

Especially after his illness & was going to miss the Glasgow meeting but Rob couldn't get a guest.

Rob said in the clubhouse, Friday, that he had got someone in from Sheffield & cost £500 & it was ok when tested on Wednesday. We, in the stand before the start/finish have lost a speaker & the 2 speakers on the lighting poles closest both point away. No, but unfortunately, we can hear you! That is what I thought & have been saying it for years. When playing music, it is very clear so, obviously, the problem is in the microphone or signal or the users. A sports microphone might be better.

Simon said in the clubhouse, Friday, that he has been suffering for 7 weeks. Did he know it would be that long & who is out there as a temporary replacement? Would r/r do it's job with Jake, Connor, Nathan & Luke available to take his rides? (Don't forget they would be riding with our no1 & against opposition heat leaders).

The Scorpions won the meeting & took the aggregate point but people reading this topic might wonder why it has took until page 5 for a Scorpion supporter to post a reply!

As far as I understand it, if Dan's average drops & Rew's average rises then, yes, Dan would drop to reserve BUT at the RS no7 where, if still unfit a guest option is available of a RS who is not in a current Premiership team.

So are we. Not enough heat winners or heat advantages. 4 VERY good riders out of top 5 & Mulford doing a great job as guest.
