  1. Why? ... should make play offs but not reach top position!
  2. I do not agree if this is true but this could be the start of little snippets leaked about how the 2024 season will be set up. Also, as this seasons rolling average has gone back up from 10 to 20, & in the Championship, there is only a maximum of 16 league meetings this year, ALL meetings should count.
  3. That is not a problem as is not "guesting" twice in an 8 day period(unless for no 1 or an NDL rider)
  4. The poster was saying that the conversion rate of 1.5 should be applied but that is not the case with assessed riders.
  5. And then the next "just turned 16 year old sensation" signs & Killeen's time in the Championship ends with Oxford top of the Championship.
  6. And Denmark have followed suit with Poland in extending their racing days, now using Wednesday & Thursday. Poland having now used Saturday/Sunday as main race days, Thursday as the alternative day as agreed to allow riders to race in 3 leagues but, also, have raced on Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
  7. I thought you could not gain an average LESS than your assessed average? Rew was re-assessed from 5 to 4 when Emil was brought in but I do not know why the ruling changed.
  8. Oxford have signed Boughen now to hold his registration, now he is 16. I thought 8 qualifying meetings was for an average? Any 12 meetings to be an asset although it might have changed!! If Killeen signs for a Championship club then he can not be used as a no8(now AR).
  9. It could make Ashton Boughen a very busy boy in each half of the play offs for 1 team only. (The rules do not allow guests to ride for 2 teams in the same group in the 3 team semi finals)
  10. Rule 12.4.2 (b) b) a rider may ride as a guest (in an official meeting) at a track only once in an 8 day period (within that league) unless he is replacing the home teams #1 or is an NDL rider guesting for the home team
  11. But Redcar used him on the 21/7 & 28/7 both at home in the no7 position. How was this allowed as I thought you could only guest 2 weeks on the trot for the no1 position. He must be a 28 day replacement.
  12. Riding at 2 or 6 are difficult positions to ride at & score points but in an above post, it is eluded that Ablitt was tapped up by Danny Ford on Wednesday night when he guested for them. Mountain struggles points in main body & even riding with Dougy in 3 races, he still rides against similar opposition even at no7 when he rode against fellow no7's 3 times. It probably comes down to mental preparation & confidence. Tonight, the Poole riders after seeing Hagon in heat 8, just attacked bends 3 & 4 more aggressively than us generating more speed & overtaking down the start/finish straight which was evident from the clubhouse, maybe less so from the pits with a side on view.
  13. He was one I noted down at the weekend to cover Drew.
  14. Hope Lambo brings a spare bike again like he did for Proctor at 1st meeting this year.
  15. Then there is the difference in riders turning up to ride or race. Money talks.
  16. Probably as iffy as Poole tonight As fozzie said, at present, https://www.xcweather.co.uk/forecast/Scunthorpe
  17. probably due to declaring your team to the SCB prior to the meeting.
  18. Depends when he can get out to practice then see if there is any reaction from his injury.
  19. Oops. typed before using brain. Just popped out before coming back & seeing this. Thanks. They use a softer grade of Anlas tyre in Poland & with the amount of money splashed about, this is why they use a tyre every race.
  20. I guess that should be "riding" & the difference in UK specs is using a different make of Anlas tyre that he has to use all meeting & not a different tyre, every race as in Poland.
  21. Damage was done earlier. You, of all people, should know about track prep for todays riders.
