Luke has just had his 1st year of CL racing & his 2nd at NDL level. Joe Thompson should not have been trebling up this last year. Who are the 2 riders?

Steve has done a lot of travelling these last few years so his priorities this year, in no particular order, is his young family, his business & Championship riding. Living 25-30 miles down the road is a no brainer this year.

In NSW Solo Championship, the finishing order was Jack H, Chris H, Ryan D & Zaine K.

Joe T should be no where near the NDL now.

You have either got increased commitments or not to drop at a moments notice when required.

Similar could be said of Starke with his preparation & upkeep of his bikes often breaking down. I seem to remember a meeting last year when he had no bikes running & no "team mate" lent him one.

This is my take as how I see the last 2 signings unfolding. If your "temporary" reserve scores a few & goes to a possible 2.3 & Poole increase their team average then how will you fit Cairns in? I think Starke is your temporary signing due to the fact he has a low average but rides WR well & will be expected to score about 5 points knowing he will be paid accordingly for doing his job & allowing Cairns to come in at the end of June.

As was said last year, the naming of the joint team thread is awful & just shows your dissent towards Scunthorpe. A more appropriate topic name would be Scunfield.

I think rolling averages still apply once you have ridden 1 or more meetings on or before the 23rd of the month. New or re-assessed riders get new averages after 6 meetings( changed in '24 to take in group BSN meetings)

Why have I mentioned transponders? DOH!

Is this new regulations this year across all 3 leagues or just tied to National League as I have not seen it anywhere else? I think there are 5 or 6 silencers to choose from in the 24 reg's & going by performance of the transponders used this last year, they were of a cheaper option & not as good as used abroad.

What happened to the junior meetings that were supposed to take place after the Premiership meetings? I did not hear much going on!

Because riders are not based in a north/south divide but travel the length & breadth of the country to get rides.

How do you think Lawson will get on with his average being his highest for a few years? He is normally a team man & will let his partner take the higher points but for some reason he is now settled with a 9+ point average which will limit his guest appearances.

From memory, I think ex Scorpion Scott Anderson raced there on a speedway bike but it is for ALL bikes & I mean ALL. I once saw a Laverda Jota raced there. It was that quick at acceleration to the straights it nearly always went wide in the corners.

More so with minimal amount of meetings. 2 possibly 3 meetings a month is not enough. imo

He had a good season in '23 & last year was curtailed by his illness, pneumonia, of which he had for over 2 months but still rode with it. He DID NOT let the Scorpions down!

If Luke rides at no2 with our top no1 then I would not expect to see an improvement in average but track skills, yes. I would, also, think that he & the 2 reserves will fluctuate between the 3 riding positions throughout the season.

At least that was probably a "draw" in the Premiership. Anyone else think there was no draw in Championship KO & just made it regionalised?

I am surprised some of the "privalged ones", the sponsors, have not let anything slip out from the AGM. The silence is deafening!

I find it hard to believe B. V. would build a team over 40 points. Pure speculation.
