Well done to Bomber, 7 points is nothing to be disappointed with in his first GP as a full rider.

That's definitely a fair point, and personally can't see anything wrong with people doing that at all. I was just cheering on the Brits and other riders I have a soft spot for, so I cheered for AJ (as he rode for Arena earlier in the season) and for Jarek Hampel.

We've all tried reasoning mate. Don't get me wrong, I fully agree with what you're saying and a good attempt it is too - but Sub won't listen.

I think what he means is that no one has been injured during a meeting, so far as they can't complete their races. Not yet anyway, and long may it continue.

He still doesn't qualify outright, so Sub doesn't have to do much work to change his theory. Interesting to note that the Top 8 would be exactly the same, with only positions 6 and 7 swapping.

When I first went in 2005, I was awestruck myself. The place was a lot smaller than I thought it was, but the noise, amount of flags and the amount of different teams represented was amazing. Even going to Wembley didn't compare to Cardiff.

Whoa whoa whoa, I didn't confirm Bydgoszcz. That's a maybe, depends on money/job. Cardiff is pretty much definite though, but I don't stay in Cardiff as I go with me dad, his girlfriend and my girlfriend; we drive there on the day, and drive back that night.

Forgive me for being ignorant, but that's funny how? Anyway, I think Nicholls will be back in next season regardless. As I've said before, I think he should take a year out and show everyone what he's capable of, earning a place back in the GP's the next year and taking it by storm.

Probably mainly down to the fact that he's not really wanted so much more than anything. And very average Polish team? Not sure I agree with you on that. Anyway, Scott could do with what Hans had to do this season, and that's a season's break from the GP's. It'll fire him up and give him something to prove.

True Hazz, but I think his average is a bit inflated due to his second place in one Final. But fair's fair, he's there on average but not in reality. He isn't a failure in speedway terms at all, but in terms of doing what he sets out to do (qualify for the Top Eight in the GPs) then I'm afraid that yes he is.

Scotty's a good rider yes, but that doesn't hold up. Wieslaw Jagus has ridden one GP this season and made the Final. Scotty has ridden in 10 and made the Final once also. He's been on the pace but he hasn't qualified by right by finishing in the top eight (nine because of Andersen) yet again. I think he's likely to stay in the GPs but he really does need to make more Finals.

Well I'm pleased to say that the 3 I predicted to be on the podium all made the Final, albeit it in 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Well done Jagus, it will be interesting to see how he gets on next season because from what I've seen of averages and scores, he's been sensational in Sweden and Poland this year. I hope he can continue his form. Of course well done to Nicki Pedersen, finishing the year how he started it with a GP win. If only the middle of the season hadn't been a bit of a damp squib.

Good for Greg. He's been unlucky in my opinion not to win GP's this year, he's come very close indeed, so he deserves to win the inaugural Latvian GP. Good for you Greg. Good to see Toninho continuing his great progress. I can see him taking at least one GP win next season, who knows what else.

Sod that Sub, we at Arena will take him! Although that's about as likely as Ronnie Russell becoming a 6 stone pale bloke with a mop of hair.

Personally, I'm not sure about the age argument. After all, riders like Hancock can still compete with the very best, who if I've got my stats right for once, is older than Loram. Adams is around Loram's age, as is Gollob. Yet they're still all making finals and even winning GP's.

To be fair, if Crumpy is riding like this again next season, I can't see anyone getting near him in the GP's. But for that to happen would be unbelievable, because he has been absolutely stunning. Definitely agree there, and personally I think the two are very close. In my view, Bomber deserves it a little more owing to his placing in the GP Qualifying Final, and I don't know, there's something about his riding style that sits me on the edge of my seat!

Always preferred qualifying myself, I like the idea that non-favoured riders could upset the balance and have a great meeting.

Well done Hans Andersen, Rune Holta and in particular, Wieslaw Jagus. Feel so sorry for PK, came 2nd overall in the heats.
