Hmm, well spotted! As many will know, if there's even the slightest chance of me getting something wrong like this I'll take it!! Though in my (flimsy) defence, - and I won't name and shame! - a distinguished fellow member of the BSF led me down this blind alley on this occasion!! Have to say, btw, that Oliver looks to be as outstanding prospect and is a really nice guy too..! PS am sure namesake Daniel is as well..!! PPS shame there's not a third young rider with this surname, then one could put together a mini team and call it 'Under The Greenwood Three'...

He got onto the track - back straight but engine packed up so never approached the tapes. To me that's a bona fide NS. Next time he was under power until the bend before the tapes but the bike cut out then and couldn't restart in time to avoid a 2 mins exclusion. The other Adam (our one, Adam Ellis) shed a chain when leading heat 2. He still managed to get home for second. The chain managed to damage his clutch and so he had to withdraw from what should've been his second ride: so that's an NS too.

Pearce; Kirby Exc 2M; Ellis NS 67.5 [6-17] Well done to ALL the riders for getting four heats done in the ten minutes we had available to us for the AJL match. Ten mins as opposed to the TWO HOURS the EL lads had for their 15 heats.. No, I don't undestand how that happened either...?!

NS in rerun; Exley f.ex 6-5 Heat 3) [rerun] Baldock; Verge; Sheppard; Exley f.ex 8-9 Heat 4) Greenwood; Ellis; Sheppard; Tokley 11-12 Heat 5) Greenwood; Baldock; Verge; Sheppard 60.9 15-14 Heat 6) Ellis; Baldock; Tokely; Exley 62.6 16-19 Under 15s match-races Robert Lambert beat Max Fricke 58.2 Robert Lambert beat Max Fricke ## Robert Lambert beat Max Fricke 58.8 A very entertaining AJ challenge at RH tonight. One-time RH Cobra Ollie Greenwood continued his comeback from injuury, like he had been at Sheffield in the MDL on Thursday, the 2007 GB U-15s national champ was unbeaten. A team debut in the UK for French-based rider Adam Ellis capped off by partnering Mark Baldock to the 5-1 in heat 6 to win the 'Capital Challenge'. Adam Sheppard contributed vital placings to help secure the Lakeside win. And Ollie Weldrick so unlucky as he couldn't avoid the fallen Exley in front of him in heat 2 and aggravated his collarbone injury leading to having to withdraw from the meeting Help with times for heats 1 to 4 plus the middle of the three U-15 races would be appreciated!

Well let's be honest, Barrie would know!! Upper Edmonton is EVEN better...!!! Now here's a London-related questioin for you... Which other relatively recently 'active' Speedway rider was also born in Edmonton (Upper or otherwise).?! You'll know Mimmo, coz you're the king of the date & places of birth!!

With news that Ryan Daley (the more recently NZ-based debutant for the Tiger Cubs) having been born in Hammeresmith, it means that no fewer than FOUR of the riders in action in his match were born in London Boroughs... Daley in Hamersmith & Fulham; Jack Kingston in Barking & Dagenham; and the Pearce bros in Waltham Forest. Wonder when was the last time FOUR Londoners appeared in the same match!!
