I'm not so bothered if he does or not - as long as it is a good meeting and not over as a contest until the last couple of heats. If this means Kyle has a shocker then I can live with that. -

Cometh the hour, cometh the man. Let's hope that BV pull this back to make it an interesting last few heats. Good luck to both teams and the crowning of the new EL champions! -
Wolves Vs Belle Vue, Grand Final 1st Leg, 3/10/16...

You would think that any team with an 18 point lead going into the second leg of the grand final would come out on top on aggregate. However, if BV can win 55-35 (which is do-able if the entire team really want it) then they will emerge champions. Well done to Wolves on their win last night - they showed their determination to win and build up a very big lead to take to the NSS. Of course you have to fancy Wolves to win overall but I'd like to think that the top team over the league season would up their game for the last throw of the dice (regardless of having their starting 1-7 - which I think is totally irrelevant). As I've said before I would like to see BV win on aggregate but wouldn't be disappointed if Wolves won it. Good luck to both teams for Wednesday. -
Rotten luck for Doyley. In a tweet he said he doesn't know the full extent of his injuries and included a photo of his right arm in plaster and a chest drain on his left side. Hope he makes a speedy recovery and he was oh so close to becoming world champion too. Gutted for him.

Good luck to both teams who thoroughly deserve their place in the final. If Wolves can build up a lead then they could kill it before they move on to the NSS. However, BV should be up for this and how great would it be for them to win the title after so many years at the wrong end of the table in their first year at the NSS? So I would like BV to win on aggregate but wouldn't be too disappointed if Wolves were to do it. -
No problem - I have never suggested that Kyle lacked ambition. I wasn't even antagonistic in my reply to you and I clearly suggested it was my opinion that they were both better than a reserve berth. A lot will depend on the rules for next year whether either, both or neither will be reserves. For the record, I was only on a windup about cheating scumbags although it did seem appropriate at the time and since it has been shown to have spectacularly backfired on Poole - there is no point in continuing it (except if paperboy annoys me)! How dare you - how very dare you! You think it is acceptable to call someone a cretin?
-
What are you on about? I simply said that both Ellis and Newman were good enough to be in the 1-5 and then it was claimed I was either ignorant or a troll - so how do you deduce this to be breaking rank and what rank are you talking about? Some things never change - here I thought you would be humble given that your team were well stuffed on Wednesday and your subsequent disappearance but clearly I was expecting too much, you are still name calling! I think most people have been restrained in not gloating too much but quite frankly you don't deserve that level of respect because your boys took one helluva beating and were made to look third rate. But the saying about "cheats never prosper" has never been more apt!
-
Why is it ignorant to have an opinion that differs from yours? If you ask me you are the ignorant one!
-
KK would be good. It will be interesting to see how the Poland situation turns out and hopefully Doyle and others will take their place next year.
-
You finished licking your wounds yet? Just to put it into context - it was only a speedway meeting and hopefully it has brought you back down to earth.
-
Ok we will have to agree to differ - unless he ever comes back to the EL. It seems Doyle was a bit of a prima donna but he has certainly got himself sorted now. Who would you want to lead Poole next season if Noddy moves on?
-
I didn't say he was a bad signing but Matt obviously thought he had the potential to be world champion and a regular for Poole ahead of Doyle. Doyle has shown that he is committed to the EL and on the verge of becoming world champion - the same cannot be said for Magic.
-
Good bit of business by Matt Ford - swapping Doyle for Maciej - NOT!
-
How on earth do you get Newman and Ellis with those averages - surely they should be nearer the 4.5-5 mark?
-
BV it is then as we already have Doyle on a high average (unless he gets re-assessed to a 7 like everyone else) so would be very top heavy
-
He would be a great number 1 for Coventry
