  1. That's what I was referring to - although I now seem to remember that Holder did the same. Anyway those 3 have been loyal to British Speedway
  2. I don't think British Speedway is in a state where it can afford to exclude riders who actually want to ride here - just because they are in the SGPs. Riders like Doyle, Holder and Lindgren (to a lesser extent) have shown great loyalty to British Speedway. Imagine if Harris was still an SGP rider - and not being able to ride in the UK!
  3. Who is Dennis Jonsson? If you mean Andreas, I'd be very surprised if he has retired
  4. Well done Chris Holder. A Monster night for him! The biggest loser - Jason Doyle who finished in fifth - maybe next year!
  5. Like I said learned those skills at Poole
  6. What UK team did the cheat last ride for ?? Learned how to cheat there
  7. Hmmm - Zmarzlik got round Pawlicki a bit easy there!
  8. It was blatant though - thought he was smarter than that
  9. Well done for dealing with it as they did - there is no team in an individual event! It's a shame the world champion within a couple of races gets disqualified for cheating!
  10. OMG - I actually agree with SS - will need to go lie down! (Don't agree about speedway though)
  11. I think he knows that and probably the date and time he was born
  12. The "I'm alright Jack" attitude is one of the contributing factors for the mess British Speedway is in. What is the point in building a team to a budget when other teams have a significantly bigger budget? That's not sport - its domination but you seem incapable of seeing the bigger picture in preference to the "I'm alright Jack" approach - why am I not surprised? And yadda yadda to you too!
  13. Still banging the same old drum!! Good luck getting Newman and Ellis on those averages.
  14. Newman has a 5+ EL average and Woffinden has a 7+ EL average both actual averages obtained from racing in the EL - FACT. Nothing funny in that! What is funny are people trying to say that Newman is actually a 3+ EL average!! Not forgetting that Newman actually beat Woffinden around his home track too!
  15. It was his true average for the season he had while world champion. He had a nightmare season in the EL and Wolves suffered as a result. He came back within 2 years, so why wouldn't you expect that he would have the same average? It was totally within the spirit of sportsmanship - replace a lesser rider with a better one who is on a lower average. No dodgy sicknotes were used!
  16. What about a team of Lindback, Newman, Batchelor, Gomolski, Andersen, J Holder, B Kurtz If Lindback can't do more than one meeting then he can be replaced by KK.
  17. I think everyone has been saying that the same equation should be applied to all EDRs - based on their EL performances. You cannot, however, give them all the same average as this doesn't take account of their ability (as you well know). As an example, a team could field Newman and Bates while another may have to have Clegg and Sarjeant - I think even you can see the imbalance there.
  18. Well they are twins that just don't get on then with each vying for the last word! I think Gavan tries to have a meaningful conversation but gets easily wound up by Starman and SS - although he has calmed down a bit since his last break - probably because Starman has been missing though!
  19. I think Steve Worrall was in the same position - spending most of the year in the 1-5 - and making a good job of it too - just like Ellis
  20. The only nonsense is coming from you - quelle surprise!!
