  1. You can read thoughts too? You must be the most talented Speedway Star seller in the country! With regards your last sentence, you believe whatever you want! Yet some Poole fans think it is relevant to mention Brady's win last year to win an argument. Because they didn't do so well in this year's it's irrelevant! What the Aussies show is who was best over a number of rounds in an individual competition. If Sedgmen can bring his form to the British League then I will be happy (and BV fans)
  2. I didn't say Brady wouldn't improve on last season but Sedgmen was better than both in this year's Aussie Championships and I believe he will bring that good form into the Premiership this season. You can disagree if you want but BV have a team (if they sign Fricke and Bjerre) to reach the play-offs and go all the way this season!
  3. If you say so but I seem to remember you and others say Kurtz deserved his place in the Aussie SGP because he won the Australuan Championship and here now because it doesn't suit your position, it's not relevant
  4. Like they did in the Aussie championship??
  5. I think he will be better than both Brady Kurtz and Jack Holder - so that makes him a great signing in my book.
  6. I had hoped Sedgmen would be back at Swindon because he can be a good, solid rider. He will be high in confidence from his winter in Aussie and I think he will have a great year this year riding for the Aces.
  7. If that's the case then how do I get my money back for Sky Sports for the last couple of months? If people had been informed sooner then they could have saved themselves £50+
  8. That picture of Bewley on the SGB website - he looks about 12 years old!!
  9. A good opportunity to "freshen it up". The shouty men have had their time, let BT Sport do it their way.
  10. He was never clever. Sad to say that in the winter of discontent, I suspected he had an ulterior motive and this has now come to fruition some years later. I never trusted the man and he has caused the demise of a great and historic speedway club. I do hope that this is only a temporary blip in the history of the Coventry Bees and they return in 2018 and many years to come.
  11. Really sad to hear the news about the Bees - I really hope this isn't the end for the club. Sad, sad news for all of their fans.
  12. I don't believe I was fishing - it was my opinion. What part of my post do you disagree with?
  13. Bullying you say? While at times I thought he and Gavan should get a room - he was never bullied. What I saw was him regularly starting on people by calling them idiots and with that sort of attitude, even after trying to point this out to him, he wasn't going to make many friends and his constant abuse of others just continued and continued. If anyone should be ashamed it is Starman. Similar to when you went on sabbatical, I don't and won't miss him. It's a shame he couldn't debate with people and how he always brought it back to insulting people. Sadly, like yourself, I suspect he will be back when his sulk is over (I even recall him saying often that you would never return to this forum and here you are). Btw - I see the Aussies are trickling back into the country - not long now until the season gets underway.
  14. Great news for Belle Vue and British Speedway with the Manchester Utd of speedway and most iconic British club continuing their business in the UK's best speedway stadium - bar none! :D
  15. Troll troll troll I'm sure you would try to cause a row in an empty room.
  16. In response to your first comment, all 3 blow hot and cold - when they are good they can be unbeatable but reliable they are not. What someone does in Aus doesn't often translate to Europe - look at Brady Kurtz last year. Having said that Rye House will comfortably make the play-offs with the team they have assembled (barring injuries).
  17. My guess would be (not in any particular order): Top 4: Rye House, Wolves, Poole + one of the next group Middle group (vying for the last spot): Belle Vue, Swindon, Kings Lynn, Coventry, Wooden spoon contenders: Leicester, Somerset
  18. Except he has been improving year on year for several years now - so not a one-season wonder like Leicester City
  19. So they have watered down the product significantly this year and some clubs want to charge more?! Only in speedway!
  20. Looks like a team to battle with Somerset at the foot of the table
  21. A difference of 0.2 of a point in both leagues is hardly conclusive evidence. I would say they are about the same level - Auty has been better but has been blighted with injuries.
