Well documented? Can you show where he stated that once Rosco has gone he would be willing to return?
-
Not sure that would be thecase because of the ridiculous average he would have been saddled with this year - which you would expect would have been higher than Holder's and that was too high for building the Poole team.

It doesn't matter what you think - facts speak for themselves. How many 2-times+ British world champions can you name? Also bear in mind that in the modern era they aren't just one off meetings where you can have a good night and be crowned world champion, they are a collection of meetings around the world (Europe and Australia actually) to see who is the best over the season. So the facts disagree with your opinion. With regards to his selection or not - he did say he wouldn't do the British final or the SWC for whatever reasons. In this case (of the World Games) he was asked if he would be available (why they asked I don't know) and he said he would be and then he isn't selected. If you want to win, you need to select your best available riders and for whatever reason the BSPA haven't selected Tai. There are probably issues on both sides but Tai SHOULD be riding on merit!

Bad luck for KK - wishing him a speedy recovery. Makes it easier for Matt Ford now but can't see a new recognised #1 coming in

Poole lost to the better team on the night. No one was expecting it and we are all still laughing about it now -

Probably best to know his average first. You can apply to have his average re-assessed but that doesn't necessarily mean it will go down! Can't see him being interested in the UK after the time he has been away. Also if doing Sweden, Poland and Denmark that would rule out him riding UK (Polish 3 league rule). I think the Newman/Kerr combination is a better solution - if Andersen can step up and be a #1 again. That would give him a starting average of just over 12 (depending on what they are now going to do with riders doing 4H and 4A -

He used to travel to Glasgow every week so he should be used to it.

We get it - you don't rate Sedgmen However, he has performed well as a second string and that's all you can ask of him! -

As I have said in a previous post - Rohan was the same last year - he started very slowly for Swindon and was close to being dropped and then everything just clicked and he was on fire and winning races for fun. OK he wasn't Swindon's number 1 but if you drop him and he finds his form like last season, you will be kicking yourself! Keep the faith - he will improve. -

Good luck to the Robins tonight -
I see Rohan has started this season like last one for Swindon. He should have been dropped and there was an opportunity to do so and just then he kicked into gear and was nigh on unbeatable - scoring points for fun. Hope he picks up because Somerset need more from him than Swindon did. Because Poole signed him to ride for the season - he had plenty of time for the evening meeting at least - regardless of the cost to get him here. Poole didn't have to sign him but when they did and he can reasonably make a meeting when another is postponed then he should ride or no facility!

You are of course entitled to your opinion but I strongly disagree you. When he was injured, he was in the form of his life and when he returned to the SGPs I would fully expected him (and Tai) to be challenging for the crown. There is obviously no way of knowing what might have happened but I am pretty confident that he would end up with more titles than Tai - and that's my opinion (and I like them both). -

You seem to know a lot and have a lot of opinions for a new poster - or is it just another alias? Sigh! Responding to the Darcy discussion: Darcy was THE best speedway rider I have had the privilege to watch on a speedway bike - and that includes the likes of Leigh Adams, Tony Rickardsson and Jason Crump to name just a few. No he wasn't a role model but he was still a young lad and his talent on a bike was second to none. i will always remember his talent over his off track antics. DW#43 -

There is no way that the Poole team will finish bottom of the pile - they will safely make the play-offs and really should be in the final - depending on who picks who and team strengths at that time of the season. -
Well said. It's all about value for money - and diluting it year on year and increasing prices and "missing" riders from match to match just drives more and more away from the sport.
