  1. The meeting was at BV the next night vs Swindon.
  2. That team already is in the top 4 and if Swindon continue their away form then Poole (and KL) should be worried.
  3. All teams should be feared and there is no place for complacency. If the real KK turns up then it will make it interesting. Poole are there for the taking as are Leicester and if the lads stay focused then they have a good chance of getting something out of both meetings
  4. Lahti for Klindt is a great replacement actually (on paper and current form abroad)
  5. Ahhh! That's better - I took his advice - pity he didn't take mine! Now brum all I ask is that you don't quote his posts as I have no desire to see them.
  6. Can you both take it to PM as it is really boring now - the chuckle brothers are funnier! Oh and FF - we all get your views about the qualification for the end of season playoffs as you constantly repeat yourself - and that's beyond boring too! Rant over - have a nice day everyone F1 and tennis day for me
  7. His scores for Lakeside show that he is a class act. Having said that everyone of the Swindon side has potential and I always believed that they were one rider away from a good team and they now have that. What is good is that Swindon were written off at the start of the season and let's hope their good run of form continues and takes them into the playoffs ahead of .... Poole
  8. Effectively the same rider in the team (Grondal replaced by Gappmeier replaced by Alpen) - which is where Swindon have been lacking - now have a better balanced side
  9. So you can prove he didn't hurt his wrist? Maybe he put an ice pack on it overnight and it felt better? You really want to get rid of your current number 1 rider? I assume you want NKI back to replace him? If anything Noddy was worse because he had no injury excuse! If Batch wasn't withdrawn on medical advice then you wouldn't have been entitled to IRR!
  10. Lahti joins to replace Klindt - good guess Skidder1
  11. I liked him when he was riding for Eastbourne a few years ago.
  12. Well done Swindon - didn't see that coming Looks like Doyle was the problem
  13. This is nothing against Poole who seem to have got on with the job in hand. However, because of the KL Aussie (and Lambert) meltdown Poole were gifted 4 (small or big) points that they wouldn't and shouldn't have had. This means that the trailing pack (Swindon and Rye House) have just been disadvantaged and that is wrong! Some punishment needs to be given out here!
  14. I don't think any of "us" dug any graves - we are the poor sods who have to live by the stupid decisions of the BSPA - at least until we have had enough and find better ways of spending our hard earned cash!
  15. The other week Swindon were without their top 2 and their #5 rider and managed to scrape a home win against a powerful Wolves side. Poole, however, brought back a poor performing #1 and an unfit rider and rather than go with R/R or a guest, signed a new rider as injury replacement for their second averaged rider and were well beaten at home to a strong KL side. Sadly injuries are part and parcel of this sport and requires the remaining riders to step up to cover for injuries but this didn't happen for Poole. If they can get KK going then they would have a balanced team but he just hasn't done the business for Poole this year. Looks like a 3 horse race for the 4th play-off spot. Poole should make it but they will need to sort KK and NK out fast! Swindon have to go into tonight's match against a strong BV side without their #1 so looks like a tough couple of days there - so Poole aren't alone with their injury problems!
  16. OMG - what did they do to deserve him. I remember him at Swindon many years ago and certainly don't miss him
  17. Must be a wifi/3G/4G blackout around Poole tonight - usually get some posts during a match when they're winning
  18. A win for KL but a good (unexpected) heat result in heat 13 for Poole
  19. From where? Surely with no Coventry - he is in enforced retirement!
  20. 10 points down at home after 6 heats - interesting KK doing well 0 from 2
  21. One would assume that its his EL average from last year
