Or to put it another way... I doubt Batch would want to ride for Buster at Kings Lynn
-
A good early call IMHO - if things were clearer then TR may have been prepared to take the risk. It is likely that some sort of disruption to our lives will continue until the vaccine is rolled out sufficiently - so expect lockdowns, tier restrictions etc until then. The likelihood is under 50s won’t get their first vaccine until August or September (unless they have a medical need to have it earlier) so I would expect significant impact to all sports in 2021 sadly. If (and it’s a big if) they can roll it out quicker then they may have a chance of a curtailed season.

George Russell in a Mercedes F1 car should put Kings Lynn on the map
-
Their closure was down to their “saviour” Avtar Sandhu - who turned out be a very unsavoury character in his antics with the stadium!
-
I can’t understand why anyone would rejoice at the prospect of losing a championship club or any other club for that matter. It’s too early to say whether or not they will survive but I hope they do.

The customer will for the first time be able to believe the times of races - no human reaction time - just accurate timing which has been around in other motor sports for years. Additionally, you shouldn’t get the human error (the ref) when deciding the result of a close finish (or dead heat). Well done to Belle Vue for trying to take a dying sport in the UK forward using technology!

Well done Lambo - SEC winner. Really showed how far he has come this season. Would have been good to see him in the U.K. rather than the telly box
-
The number of deaths suggest that this was not just flu and I don’t think any decision makers panicked. Lots of things could have been done better and some things don’t seem logical - but better to be safe I say
-
I thought Lambo looked sharp in the SEC yesterday - and he tops the table. Hope he gets to ride for KL this season as he has also started well in the Polish league.

I remember a few seasons back Doyley started with a near 14 point average

Will the premiership start on time?

I beg to differ! Don’t want to see more riders abandoning British Speedway! -
That’s simply not true. He guested for Swindon at BV the season before last and he was gash!
-
He’s no Brady Kurtz - who has failed this far to fulfil his potential. Maybe a move to BV will help get him back on the right track!
-
I think that it is naive to think that speedway will be unaffected when most other major sports are being affacted - especially when the majority of riders do not live in the UK.

Has someone escaped from the local mental institution? Seriously - what a loon!
-
Go away!

6/1 for Kings Lynn? Be just as well putting your money on a three legged donkey to win the Grand National
-
My prediction for this season: Play off contenders : Wolves, Peterborough, Swindon, Belle Vue Final - Wolves v Swindon Champions - Swindon Wooden spoon contenders : Ipswich, Kings Lynn, Sheffield Wooden Spoon - Kings Lynn
-
Reminds me of the Rye House team a few years ago - and that didn’t end too well. On paper looks good with room for improvement but these riders have lower averages for a reason. Having said that I thought The Ipswich team were gash at the start of last year and we all know how that ended
-
People are referring to them as Dad's Army and yet you say they have more potential than most other teams - a bit of an oxymoron
-
Of course they look more professional. Its a TEAM sport and the matching kit aligns with a TEAM of riders rather than a collection of individuals (Poole Pirates last season is a good example of the latter). Whether you like it or not is a different question.

He races road bikes

Tell that to the family who buy/bought the house that backs right onto the pits!
