Swindon Vs Kings Lynn 21 August 2017

Sometimes you look at teams on paper and believe it is very one sided - this match is one of those occasions. However, matches are not won on paper and sometimes the underdog can spring a surprise. I don't think KL will spring a surprise but Swindon will need to ensure that they don't get complacent. Also, as fans we need to watch that we don't get over-confident and turn into certain Poole supporters because then everyone just wants to see your team fail. Swindon this year have surprised everyone and the fans just need to stay level headed and enjoy the ride -
How do you know this? Matt is the only one who has gone public - to take some of the attention away from the sinking pirate ship this season
-
Well it should be 13 in a row against a side resembling a team from the Championship.

Fixture Cut Off Date...has It Been Extended?
Steve0 replied to Speedwaycrazy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
the playoff teams remaining fixtures will be prioritised and the others will have an extended end date IMHO -
I can't see there being enough riders for all of the teams given the numbers doubling up. Maybe 5 or 6 man teams?
-
This team has surpassed anyone's expectations. I saw there was potential but we were one change away from being playoff material. Rosco made that change (not his first choice) and now the team are on fire! I am so glad the mighty atom turned us down in favour of BV because Alpen has been a revelation. KL next and their championship side

Mads and Ljung haven't ridden for Swindon for years. My point was that Poole are copying Swindon's blueprint from this season. Some are leaders and some are followers!
-
A bit like Swindon 2017 then!
-
 Only if on a "ringer" average
-
Or they've croaked

Is that the team place he was promised that, so far, hasn't materialised? Oh god! Starman's been on the happy pills. He does know that the signing is for 2018 - and anything can happen between now and then! He is certainly a good discovery - by Coventry!
-
It has been talked about on here but the ban has started - and the fine will need to be paid before he can restart racing - all subject to his appeal!
-
You really are a nasty piece of work. As I have said to you several times before - if you have nothing nice to say best not say anything!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Don't call me silly! Just because my opinion differs from yours does not make me silly !!

How about Ronnie Russell? -
Well said Chris

Back to winning ways for the Pirates - no white flag just yet. An honest write-up from MF in his programme notes - looks like it had an effect - hope the riders continue to respond. Fourth looking a bit of a bun fight between several chasing teams - wouldn't like to call it. The Wurzels vs Robins double header starting tonight - will that help their cause?
-
Ipswich - and fuel is so expensive in RWB
-
They will ride better for the Wurzels rather than Poole
-
It's a shame the home team don't know how to ride it - actually it's not a shame

I am surprised by this Poole team. They were one of the favourites at the start of the year and have turned into also rans. KK's form has had an impact but that team should have been able to cover and now they seem to be everyone's tip for 7th. Compare this with Swindon who were written off (and mocked by some) at the start of the year and they are currently top of the pile. Rosco should be applauded for the team he put together - the potential was there and they have delivered and only one change to the original 1-7 - with Zach now out injured too.
