That may be true but they haven’t won anything yet - the league campaign is a qualifying competition - nothing more -
And Pete Adams already in that
-
I used to think that but I like him and wouldn’t mind him being at Swindon if we had a team and anywhere to race
-
Batch’s lowered average should balance out Adam Ellis’ increased average when they both return (hopefully)
-
This is normal for Batch. He excels when there is a #1 in the team but when he has to step up - he seems to have a mental block. Keep the faith - he will come good and could be a trump card in the play offs.
-
Social media seems to be getting (or is already) out of hand - whether this is as a direct result of the last 18 months and the numerous lockdowns people have had to live through or down to the fact that the general culture appears to now be one of “shock” comments to illicit arguments/fear which can only be described as feral behaviour (as witnessed by the backlash against the 3 England penalty takers who failed to score on Sunday and so called fans with the underperforming KL team and many more). It definitely needs sorting to turn this emerging culture back to “friendly banter” - which I’m sure was its original intention.
-
I don’t think Crump has had enough matches to get a new average so if he is unable to ride, a replacement is allowed using his current GSA - assessed or otherwise. Nothing wrong there.
-
He didn’t ride on Friday as it was rained off!
-
Doubtful he was fit to ride and if he was he certainly wouldn’t have been fit to race!
-
He may have been programmed to ride but he certainly wasn’t fit - you could see that quite easily in last week’s televised meeting.

Yes he was - and he still wasn’t fully fit. -

Surely you are grasping at straws. He wasn’t fit in last week’s match and they can ill afford a number 1 who isn’t fully fit with the results they have been getting. It’s the right decision and gives Jason more time to recover. -
Reminds me of Adam Shields. It is difficult to admit that the “mojo” has gone when it has been your main income for many years IMHO.
-
There’s a Haribo shortage?? Oh no!
-
Schools out early I see
-
Given the average age of a speedway fan - you would have thought that most have already been double jabbed - so it does seem harsh to have a blanket sports policy that might end up putting the final nail in the coffin for British Speedway
-
I read that Silverstone can have full capacity (140,000 spectators) for the British F1 GP in July - surely that is a sign that all restrictions will be lifted
-
You made a claim about him being the best, I was asking what achievements he had had in the top flight to substantiate that and apparently that is my mistake?
-
Serious question - what top league title has Rob Lyon actually won?
-
There are 6 teams in the League - you have listed 3(50%) so the other 3 will most likely make up the remaining 50% of matches to be televised - doh!

Belle Vue Aces v P'boro Panthers BHM (31/05) Midday...

Good result for the panthers and could even have won it. -
Really sad to read about another club closing. It’s not the first and won’t be the last

No they’re not. Eurosport tweeted that the next Speedway will be 7 June on Eurosport 2 -

Glasgow are streaming their meetings - I believe it is £11.95
