Except Somerset have got their act together this season. Leicester were tipped to make the play offs - and probably would have done with their original team but we will never know. The current team isn’t going to stop the Lions winning the wooden spoon this season as they are cast adrift at the bottom of the table.

I think you’ll find that Steve Lawson retired a few years ago. Is it his son (Richard) you are talking about? (Who rides for Somerset). Or is it Steve Worrall ?

Poole have done nothing wrong in assembling their team. Riders have started the season and been discarded because of poor form. Riders have been discarded when they were riding to and above their averages and riders who have been poor all season have finally found some form - only after Poole managed to strengthen their team - all within the rules. Poole now have the team they thought they had at the start of the season and anything less than winning the playoffs will be more disappointing than Swindon whooping them at home this season. They will totally deserve what’s coming to them!

If it’s the same as Swindon then it’s down to H&S

I know - it’s ridiculous! Speedway could still be happening at Smallmead if they hadn’t demolished it - to use as an overflow car park! It saddens me every time I drive past it and it looks like Swindon may go the same way!!

Well he won’t go to Poole as they now have no weak links according to SS. Wolves or Leicester maybe. Possibly Swindon but can’t see any of the top 5 being released. Or he may just sit out the rest of the season as he would need to be sponsored by a club - and that will probably take longer than 10 days

Win, lose or draw - it’s not going to change my life. However, looking at the league table (which shows points earned and not points expected), I think you’ll find that the pie rats are currently behind the Robins in the table!

No issue with the Poole win but I am shocked that you believe there is nothing wrong in polluting the environment with waste oil - that is just totally unacceptable!

Ignorance is no defence. I’m sure that waste oil needs to be labelled appropriately so there is absolutely no defence.
