  1. I agree it’s a risk but Poole were up for it and would easily have scored what Nick scored - and possibly more and would have been deserving champions
  2. Kings Lynn did not cause anything - the rules (as was) permitted them to use Adam Ellis in the first leg at Poole - they didn’t (and still don’t) allow Poole to use Nick Morris at Kings Lynn. I don’t have any agenda either but what I can’t stand is a team (any team - including Swindon) that benefits from a blatant disregard of the rules. As I have said, Poole could have legally used RR and won with a legal team - and I would have congratulated them for that. However, they chose to include an ineligible rider according to the rules and a team that benefits from ignoring the rules are cheats! QED
  3. Kings Lynn won the admiration of speedway fans - the same cant be said for Poole!
  4. Well done Somerset. Got to feel for KL who were the best team over the season but injuries hit at the business end of the season and they have nothing to show for the successful year they’ve had
  5. Sore loser? - my team didn’t even make the playoffs!! I have plenty to do and I don’t need sympathies from you thanks ! How can it be sanctioned? The rules are very clear that Nick Morris was not eligible to ride in the second leg!
  6. You know exactly where they have cheated! Nick Morris’ average was too high to guest for Brady Kurtz in the second leg and by using him rather than a legal guest - they cheated (i think they would have won fairly with a change that was within the rules). There is NOTHING in the rules that allows this replacement by Poole.
  7. Because cheating is something that just shouldn’t be accepted
  8. As has been said previously Poole cheated in the final by using Nick Morris in the second leg. They had an opportunity to win it fair and square but they chose not to. They can crow all they want but at the end of day, Nick’s score should be expunged and KL are therefore the true champions.
  9. Not a lot - when there are issues with regards to having a stadium
  10. Maybe he’s been booked to cover Holder and it’s RR for BWD?
  11. Kings Lynn won nothing - they topped the league that’s all (sadly)
  12. I don’t accept that - he just didn’t ride as well as he has this season - this May be due to machinery but certainly not an agent for Poole
  13. Record books should also show that Poole fielded an illegal rider in the second leg - whose score should be expunged (as Poole chose to cheat rather than use RR which I believe they would then have won fairly) meaning that Kings Lynn are the true champions!
  14. What about the other 27 riders that rode for Poole this season? I don’t require/desire a response!
  15. Well that is definitely incorrect. This season is over and the value of their Rider “assets” is exactly £0 as they have no riders under contract. Tai may be a 3x world champion but he is worth nothing to Wolves if he doesn’t ride in the UK! he isn’t actually worth anything if he does ride - except if he goes on loan, the BSPA deem that they can claim a loan fee!
  16. “Assets” that you believe have a perceived value have no value at all under the Bosman ruling. If they have no long term contract then they are not assets. Speedway has been flouting this law for years and it is illegal. It takes just one rider to challenge the asset system and it falls apart. Anyone interested in purchasing a speedway club should bear that in mind! Commercial partners may have some value depending on what their contracts say.
  17. No one would be interested then EDIT - maybe in the tractor
