  1. Well he shouldn’t be without Wolves giving permission!
  2. Swindon would be mad to let Morris go anywhere on his bargain average. Given his history with Rosco, I’d like to think he would stay. Swindon will have a new track so hopefully that will be a catalyst for an improved season for him rather than a year away and then saddled with a big average again!
  3. That’s because you are a Poole supporter and rules are there to be broken, bent or twisted - apparently!
  4. The rules strictly forbid any “tapping up” of another team’s assets!
  5. Delaying the inevitable - or prolonging the agony!
  6. That’s why Buster investing in three clubs is total madness - 3x the losses and can only end in disaster!
  7. That’s because he is gash. If you can’t get signed up in either of your home leagues - that speaks volumes (although probably wants too much dosh for his current abilities!
  8. He had the cheek to ride for Swindon again - all water under the bridge and different players now. He isn’t perfect but he did a good job at Swindon last season.
  9. Ok thanks to you and Orlov for clarifying
  10. If they are giving reductions for coming through the NL then Nick Morris would be eligible - wouldn’t he?
  11. I read that he wasn’t returning to Reszsow as he is owed £28K - Swindon Advertiser
  12. Swindon really need to have 2 decent reserves - as last season showed. Zach and Stefan should be the starting point for the team and build from there
  13. Can’t understand why any sane person would want to own and run 3 clubs. He must have very deep pockets - hope he is prepared for the losses! If he does have money troubles along the way then that's 3 clubs at risk! it doesn’t make any sense!
  14. They need to learn that the customer is king and not their current attitude of “use it or lose it”. Listen to your customers, work out how to get there and develop a plan to take the sport forward and look at the value for money. Currently with the promoters it is a bit like Nero fiddling while Rome burns and that is driving more and more people away from the sport - they really need to take what customers they have left seriously to keep them and encourage new supporters!
  15. Given the likes of my post to yours I think it is you that needs to work it out!
  16. Why would stadiums be empty on GP nights? I watch very few things “live” at transmission time and much prefer to record and watch on delay. This allows me to skip past Adverts , replays and endless studio chats. I’m sure a lot of people feel the same way
  17. Which is why their valuations are ludicrous! Someone mentioned £500K for Poole - for what? The rights to promote speedway in that area? It only takes one rider to challenge the asset system for it to be deemed illegal (and therefore no value in club asset terms)
  18. Interesting that Swindon’s “traditional” race night is a Saturday but were forced to go to Thursdays about 15 years ago for the sake of the greyhounds.
  19. Wouldn’t read too much into Morra going to Dubai - after all he was part of the Poole team in the finals. I would be surprised to see him back at Swindon next year (after having knocked 2points off his average) but a steal on that average and Wolves fans seem certain he is heading to Monmore Green next season.
  20. Rider of the year - Robert Lambert Most impressive team - Somerset Team rider of the season - Troy Batchelor One to watch - Dan Bewley Bulldog award (Best British rider) - Robert Lambert Meeting of the season - BV vs Somerset on Sky Surprise of the season - Kings Lynn Underperformers (Team) - Swindon Unluckiest rider- Martin Vaculik Newcomer of the season - Krystian Pieszczek
  21. Your post says a lot about you as an individual
  22. That’s the point - it doesn’t expire. For example, you get a license to promote speedway at Poole Speedway - that stops anyone else doing the same - and devaluing your product. If anyone wants to promote in Coventry then Mick Horton currently has the license - unless someone buys it off him - following the BSPA rules.
