  1. It is normal to expunge results from the records and that includes rider averages. How can you keep an average from a meeting which has been expunged? I’m only surprised it took so long for them to do.
  2. No Morris and now no Harris for Poole - interesting.
  3. The strongest heat leader trio in the league - but at what cost? Surely we can’t go with 6 riders again for the season and a token #7?
  4. Except Morris is confirmed at Wolves
  5. Hmmm! These are self employed riders and employment laws enable them to ride for whoever they want - you can’t force a rider to ride for a specific club - the same way any other employed person can choose who they work for
  6. Ipswich have always been favourites in the top league - for the wooden spoon
  7. I thought I was on the wrong thread. Came on looking to see some Poole chat and it's all about Nick Morris - bit bizarre really!
  8. Gutted Morra is leaving - hoping he is going to Wolves which was the original rumour months ago. So does this mean that Batch is staying? If not, why not announce him at the same time?
  9. Not unexpected but he did a good job for the team for the last two years - better than anyone anticipated!
  10. Hard to overlook Harris after his heroics in the play-offs. Need to remember though he was only signed when Rye House closed - so Poole missed his usual first half of the season issues
  11. Nope - the new track and riding with Doyley will be good for him
  12. You seem very interested in Morris. I’m sure you will find out in good time and put you out of your misery. He will have signed a contract before he flew home and it will be announced in due course. Who that’s for we will all have to wait and see!
  13. Having signed Doyle - the writing was on the wall for Troy. He may still figure but team would be weaker further down - and we did that last year!
  14. A change of track is what Nick needs to rebuild his confidence and that's what he would get if he stayed at Swindon. With him and Rosco being close and the loyalty he and the club have shown to each other, I would be surprised if he was to leave Blunsdon for the coming season - especially with such an attractive average having just signed one of the top riders in the league with a high average.
  15. Better than Wrighty and can increase his average? Not even in the same league IMHO
  16. Who is that then? Someone affordable and capable of increasing their average?
  17. Looks like a wooden spoon team IMHO
  18. I know he can be a pain at times but he did well at Swindon last season and was good for KL prior to “trackgate”.
