  1. That'll be the ones that aren't wanted by Peterborough then As I've said before no one OWNS them!
  2. Would you work for a derisory amount of money? I know I wouldn't so hardly an offer. As said above, Coventry shouldn't have been talking to him anyway and FYI Swindon didn't buy Doyle - they swapped him with Magic!
  3. At least with a house you can own it - no one OWNS the riders! Always going on about the rules! So explain why Coventry were given permission to speak to Hans and Swindon weren't? The rules state that if the parent club don't plan on using a rider, the club that they were last on loan with has first refusal! A good example of NOT adhering to the rules on all occasions and just when it suits their own agendas
  4. Peterborough Speedway - who are supposed to look after their "assets" and not leave them hung out to dry!
  5. That is your opinion - if it is fact - show me where this is stated!
  6. Still can't see how the alleged ruling on Batch makes any sense - especially in light of the NKI decision. Peterborough have no intention of using Batch so why is a loan fee not acceptable after only one season when NKI can be loaned for a third season? If I was Patch I wouldn't part with any transfer money, sign Batchelor on loan and then let the BSPA try and challenge the legalities - especially when Batch will effectively be out of work unless some other team wants to buy him! What a crock!
  7. So we've heard about PUK but nothing about Batch and Hans - why is that?
  8. I think they were referring to an unhealthy balance sheet rather than debts!
  9. So - you're calling Bratters a liar are you?
  10. Will be interesting to see if the £10 specials will be required next year
  11. It seems none of your other "assets" want to ride for you next season either
  12. Isn't North an "asset" of Peterborough? No chance of him wanting to ride for his parent club then!
  13. My facts are correct thanks. I didn't say your comment was incorrect either just that you don't engage your brain. The reason they had few Brits when you saw them was due to significant injuries and the death of their captain - try and be a bit more sensitive
  14. You really don't engage brain before you post do you? They started the season with 4 - and have had good British representation for a good few years!
  15. Absolutely no relevance at all to the discussion except to throw mud Swindon's way! I didn't say that Swindon were squeaky clean in everything they do but in this situation I merely asked what they had done wrong.
  16. Yes - they are in agreement Anything else you make out of it is in your own head.
  17. What rule has been broken by Swindon then? Peterborough not using either Hans or Batch (apparently) so the rules say they can go out on loan. Now, if either had been given an acceptable offer of a team place then you might have a case. Unfortunately, though, Poole set the precedent last year when it was deemed that a loan was acceptable for Miedzinski so I really don't know what panthers fans are bleating about! All I can see is Peterborough trying to offload some "assets" - and in these tough financial times, sellers are not in a strong position. So that's two members of the BSPA who have been talking sense this week - Patchett and Harkess
  18. Of course it makes sense and I hope it is sorted out soon
  19. Of course - level playing field doesn't mean just that - just the bits of the field where it suits Finally, it is you who is sadly mistaken. Riders will freely go where they want to go - no need to toss a coin!
  20. You weren't saying that 2 years ago when your promoter put the sport in jeopardy and your club's very existence. He now seems hellbent in doing the same this year! There are two points of view and I am very glad that I support what Patch is saying and speaking out about an illegal system. Oddly enough, removing the asset system would ultimately give the level playing field your owner was banging on about 2 years ago
  21. Well said Patch - someone speaking sense at last
  22. Well - Thursday is our race night as is Sheffield so I would be very surprised to see Steady at Blunsdon on a Thursday - tv or not.
  23. And I meant to say I hope Sheffield are riding that night because Steady is pretty good round Blunsdon
