Virus confirmed - 2 responses - both from Peterborough! It's free on my iPad - a bit like Batch will be for Swindon
-
I think there must be a Peterborough virus on this thread
-
Patch to reply to the Morris situation in tomorrow's Swindon Advertiser
-
Yes and I predict both riders will be at Swindon with Troy on loan
-
Just as well matches aren't won on paper Although sometimes matches are won by the draw from a hat
-
Lets see what happens after 1 March
-
Yes but you've named your team
-
Like many others, I think Wolves will be at the other end of the table
-
As previously stated there is a testimonial section on this website where this should be posted. If it was about Andersen's testimonial then I would understand the post but the fact that Andersen is riding in another rider's testimonial is tenuous in the extreme. A rider who has had no previous association with Swindon Speedway!
-
Yes i know! My point was that Nicki Pedersen has a worst temperament than Batch so challenging Game On's statement
-
And Nicki Pedersen has??
-
The missing piece of your jigsaw is that Swindon planned on using Batch in 2010. This meant that if Peterborough wanted him they had to buy him - this is a "rule" that has been in existence for a long time but was thrown out the window with Miedzinski last year - BSPA consistency again! Last year (and this), Peterborough had not planned on using Batch which means, like NKI, he should be available for loan. Why the MC saw fit (according to Peterborough promoters) to rule otherwise again shows BSPA consistency!! As has been pointed out several times, a loan deal over several years is NOT "on the cheap" as you put it!
-
Just like you me thinks
-
Look at your post above where you said "As for the tapping up....." That looks like a comment to me! Lets just wait and see what happens with Batch and then we can all see if there is a rule or not. The rule I have mainly been referencing is the one that says if the parent club don't use a rider, he is available on loan! Aren't you a Lakeside fan? I'm just wondering why you are taking such an interest in this?
-
I believe at the time of the Peterborough end of season awards Rosco was working for Coventry so explain the tapping up Einstein? Although he did announce his leaving Coventry the next day Again - pure speculation that any tapping up occurred! Unless you were involved in the discussion ??
-
What is correct is that Peterborough didnt declare him in their team - the rest is from your vivid imagination!
-
Consistency is EXACTLY what I want!! NKI goes to KL for a third season on loan and Batch cannot do a second season on loan?!?!?!
-
BSPA climb down it is - after all it's not good for the image of the sport that a rider (whatever nationality he is) is unable to earn a living because the BSPA won't budge - and will need to explain their reasons why a rider who is not being used by their parent club is not allowed to go out on loan as per the BSPA rules - that would be interesting. Just for Crump99
-
It's interesting - for a Swindon thread, it seems Crump99 has posted nearly as many times as me. Does this mean I've got a stalker? Anyway only a few weeks to go to find out if Batch will be in or out of work. Silly me, I thought promoters were supposed to look after their assets
-
We are never going to agree about this There is a rule which says that if a team isn't using one of their assets then they can go out on loan. Why the MC have decided anything different is beyond comprehension but, as you keep going on about rules - the rule I mentioned is the one I'd go with. Why should they come to any financial settlement and why should Patch shut up (although he hasn't said much on the subject lately) - the rules are the rules!
-
It's about supply and demand. Just because someone wants to sell doesn't mean anyone is obliged to buy! Whatever the rights and wrongs of how anyone sees it, it is approaching the start of the season and no one seems interested in buying Batch. Surely it makes sense then that he is made available on loan rather than not ride - or is that too simple for some to understand? I'm sure this sorry saga will come to a conclusion soon.
-
TNT - I am a bit sick of seeing your troll post about Freddie Lindgren's testimonial on just about every current thread. This is against the site rules and I have no interest whatsoever in it and don't expect to see it on a Swindon thread or any other EL thread outside Wolves. There is a separate thread for testimonials

Interesting article http://speedwaygp.com/news/article/2241/nki-calls-for-signing-deadline

I think you'll find one of your Peterborough cronies let the genie out of the bottle there (#2244). If you don't want others to comment then maybe you should advise him to leave well alone rather than someone responding to him
