Congratulations to Rosco and his wife on the birth of their little girl Ruby

I think you need to read my posts properly! I blame the promotion for the situation and the riders for the action they took!
-
Totally uninspiring signing! Having said that he could be just what is needed to strengthen the Wolves going into the play-offs or he can be a total flop!! Will have to wait and see....
-
Crump was born in Bristol but he's not British I like Tai too (apart from his body art) so I don't know how I missed him off
-
Ok - maybe I think of him as Aussie Corrected it now - sorry - honest oversight! I would have put Swindon down for 4 but Nick Morris chose to ride for Australia - can't say I'm surprised with the performance of our SWC team managers!!
-
I think if you look at the teams with the most Brits, we have: Birmingham (4) - 57% of the team Swindon (3) - 43% Coventry (3) - 43% Lakeside (2) - 29% And the hall of shame: Belle Vue (1) - 14% Wolves (1) - 14% Kings Lynn (1) - 14% Eastbourne (0) - 0% Peterborough (0) - 0% Poole (0) - 0%

Where? I can't find anything

Have to agree -
Fractured scaphoid for Birks according to his Twitter. He says he will miss the 4s today and hopefully no more- brave lad.

No it's not! The guest rule is even worse!

As I said Kennett is no longer doubling up with Berwick http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.21337.3 So all those with their vivid imaginations and accusations of illegal team are wrong and the announcement is correct!!
-
Did no one read the newspaper article then? It clearly states that Kennett will no longer be doubling up - so how is the Swindon team illegal? Maybe someone should tell Berwick
-
In answer to your question - it lacks ambition! We won't win the league with these two reserves! I like them both but it doesn't half give us a weak bottom end to the team - even with both being triers - you don't win races on desire alone! Oh well - it's only speedway and summer has arrived - so plenty of sunshine to look forward to!

Howarth replaces Gomolski http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/speedway/10531043.Swindon_Robins_bring_in_Howarth_to_replace_Gomolski/ This means that Kennett will no longer be doubling up (with Berwick and not Edinburgh as it says in the article). I was impressed with Howarth early in the season the two times I saw him and is definitely improving. Unfortunately that now gives us two inexperienced young Brits at reserve - no problem with them being young and British - it's the inexperience that worries me! If we make the play-offs we will be vulnerable at reserve! Doesn't look like a move to strengthen the team to me (as Howarth's average is over 0.5 point less than Gomolski!) but more of a cost-saving signing. On a positive note Peterborough can strengthen their team with Gomolski for Klindt

Regardless of what it says - do you think signing a rider for one match is acceptable? If the answer is yes then I am the one that is shocked
-
But that's the point - there are points limits and team building regs. I don't really care if other promoters are coming round to thinking about squads because for now - they aren't allowed - except it seems for Poole! I do hope the BSPA block any subsequent dropping of Kozza until he has ridden the required 28 days! This is just getting silly now !
-
How come Poole (or any club) are allowed to sign a rider for one meeting? It's things like that which make a mockery of this sport! Why have a team at all - just pick 7 available riders, stick a club shirt on and get them to ride. Oops! Sorry! That's what Poole have been doing for the last month!
-
I have to say that the criticism directed at Rosco is justified. He is such a personality and has been great for the club but, as said above, he is not above criticism! During his first TV interview, he didnt look happy and just got worse during the meeting - his body language said he really didnt want to be there! If he's not on top form, how is he expected to get the best out of the riders? And to leave Gatherc0000le in heat 14 was shocking! His demeanour reminded me of 2007 vs Coventry when he criticised our Poles.

Then you'll know about Sky Go then Given that you are looking for an illegal link, it hardly puts you in a strong position for name calling!

You are getting Batch and Hans mixed up - but don't let that get in the way of your rant!
