  1. He must think you are better than that ------- R O B I N S Good luck with finishing the job tomorrow - no heroics and avoid last places and it should be in the bag COYR :t:
  2. According to Nigel Pearson on Twitter - he pulled out last weekend! World Champion in waiting - hope he is well enough to get the 6 points he needs - come on Woffy Woffy Woffy!
  3. I really don't understand the criticism aimed at Tai! This lad has transformed himself this year (in more ways than one) The lad has ambitions to be world champion and he has worked hard to get where he is. He lost his dad in 2010 and I'm sure when he wins the world crown, he will dedicate it to his memory. He comes across as a thoroughly nice lad in interview and even makes the effort to speak in Polish for his Polish fans. Anyone who rides on having re-broken their collar bone where you could see that he was in agony deserves respect and not all the sniping that's going on here. This is Britain's chance for a world champion in 13 years (and probably even longer for the next) so I say let's get behind him and support him as he truly deserves it.
  4. You could have 7 world champions in your team and scottyfan would still be all doom and gloom! You sure you weren't Private Frazer in Dad's Army - "we're all doomed"??
  5. That's not what the Poole fans were saying in the final last year - apparently Swindon only won because of Poole's bad luck with injuries
  6. I notice you changed from saying Greg hadn't ridden Swindon for years - must have remembered when he rode last month
  7. It's just that some promoters are more equal than others (adapted from George Orwell's Animal Farm)
  8. It was a joke (hence the emoticon) - lighten up the season's nearly over for one of us
  9. That's how Peterborough won in 2006 when Reading were the better side and needed no tacticals. They haven't changed it in all that time - so don't see them ever changing it!
  10. Well done Brummies and commiserations to Wolves! Wolves were clearly hampered by NKI's poor start to the meeting and Robert Miskowiak's poor form. Its not all over yet but with the home form of the Brummies, I would be very surprised not to see Brummies in the final. The other finalist is still all to play for I think and obviously want Swindon to prevail.
  11. That's the problem - the team wasn't built full of winners which is why you have a long tail.
  12. Well done to the Robins - a good display! Eddie upped his game which was good to see and Batchelor's pass in the last was simply awesome. Special mention to Lewis Kerr who was in the mix and scored some points which I never expected before the meeting! The same next week will do just fine
  13. What justice is that then? Surely, the best team will win through (without any reference to (in)justices)?
  14. Read his post - he never said Darcy was in the town centre Anyway, back to this meeting - COYR :t:
  15. Get well soon Woffy. It must have taken super-human effort to keep riding with a broken collarbone - I doff my cap to him - a worthy world champion in waiting :t:
  16. Who cares who is favourite? Certainly not me!! It doesn't matter - all this endless chatting about who's favourite!! Also I don't think crazy robin was doing any talking - unless you are the only one with add-ons on this forum
  17. Can't see him hanging up his kevlars just yet. Although I wouldn't like to see him in the a Robins side again, I still think he can do a Floppy or Smoli - both of which were on way down and then peaked. If lower points limit and one big league (or regional) then I think he would do well for you - certainly better than R/R Allen
